Jangsu Seolleongtang Haejangguk
장수설렁탕해장국 Jangsu means long life; seolleongtang is ox-bone soup and haejangguk is hangover soup, the two dishes the name promises.

A drivers' canteen on Baekjegobun-ro between Samjeon Station and the Asian Games Athletes' Village apartments. Seolleongtang, haejangguk and ttukbaegi bulgogi are 6,000 won, the large seolleongtang 8,000 won, and you take your shoes off and eat at low floor tables. Kimchi and kkakdugi are self-serve refills. It now opens daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.; as late as March 2025 it ran around the clock. We read 20 posts from 9 March 2025 to 12 October 2026, 17 of them from people who actually went.

Rows without a count: 5 of 10 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All seating is on the floor. Of the 17 visits, 10 mention floor seating and 5 mention taking shoes off at the door, and several found it uncomfortable. One post describes taxi drivers all sitting facing the TV; another was told not to sit at the table in front of it.
- The side dishes are just cabbage kimchi and cubed radish kimchi; 10 posts describe refilling them yourself from a self-serve corner near the entrance. The kimchi comes whole and you cut it with scissors at the table. Shredded scallions come with the soup.
- Fifteen posts remark on how cheap it is: two people paid 12,000 won for seolleongtang and haejangguk, three paid 18,000 won for one each of the three 6,000-won dishes, and a ttukbulgogi plus large seolleongtang with an extra bowl of rice came to 15,000 won.
- Three posts mention waiting: one waited briefly for a table, one notes a line forms at lunchtime, and one saw a queue after noon. Three posts say the food comes out fast.

Parking
9 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Nine posts say there is parking in front, but it is often full of taxis: one writer gave up several times before finally finding a space, another circled before parking, and a third simply calls parking hell. One post counts about six spaces; another found them plentiful.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
2 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 16 posts read) |
|---|
Only one post mentions floors, saying the writer assumed it was a single ground-floor room; nobody else says.
No one mentions a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access, so we don't know. Bear in mind that all seating is at floor tables you step up onto after removing your shoes.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside. Three posts mention a jokey sign by the counter ('those wishing to lose weight, turn right and go up to the 2nd floor'), which one writer took to mean upstairs seating; it suggests the toilet is upstairs to the right, but no one describes going there or whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 18 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on the smell differ: three posts mention a funky, beefy odour and one found none. Two say the broth comes nearly unseasoned.
- Four posts call the room spacious; one says the tables are fairly close together.
- Two posts call it tidy; one found half-cut kimchi left in the scissor holder.
- The restaurant has not moved, but its hours changed: a March 2025 post describes 24-hour opening, while every post from November 2025 on gives 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and two 2026 posts point out it is no longer open around the clock.
- Ten posts agree on daily hours of 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., though seven of them copied it from a listing. Only one copied listing says it never closes, and no one mentions a break time or last order.
- Prices are consistent except for ttukbaegi bulgogi: three posts say 6,000 won, one says 8,000. Rice is included with each soup per two posts; an extra bowl was 1,000 won. One post recalls the seolleongtang costing 5,000 won in 2011.
- Two posts say it is a five-minute walk along the main road from Exit 4 of Samjeon Station on Line 9; one says it is a bit of a walk from the station. No one mentions buses.
- Four posts describe going as a couple, two with friends, and one each with children, as a group of three, and alone; the solo diner says nobody minds you taking a table by yourself.
- Many posts list the phone number, 02-415-1472, but nobody says whether it takes reservations or phone orders; one visitor ordered takeaway in person.
