도나르 이태원점 Donareu Itaewon-jeom
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
Donar's Itaewon shop is a bakery-cum-brunch place on the second floor of a building in a side street near Itaewon's antique furniture street (9 Noksapyeong-daero 26ga-gil). It sells rustic loaves — focaccia, baguette, rye — and sandwiches built on them (12,800–17,800 won on the autumn 2026 menu), plus soup, lasagna and wine. Of the 23 posts from people who went, 17 took their food away. It now opens daily 9 am to 6 pm; in 2025 it closed Tuesdays, stayed open until 8 pm Wednesday to Sunday, served wine in the evening and had pasta on the menu. We read 30 posts from April 2025 to October 2026; 6 were about the Apgujeong branch that opened in 2026 and were set aside.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Most people take it away: 17 of the 23 visitors did. Several found a care card in the bag — freeze whatever you won't eat that day, never refrigerate, and reheat four to five minutes in an air fryer at full heat. One post said staff ask whether to slice hard loaves; two noticed delivery riders coming and going.
- There is a wall of windows: fourteen posts mention the window seats or the light through the big panes. Two September 2026 posts describe a bar counter along the window, one counting four seats and the other about five.
- Seating is limited. Ten posts describe the seats; two 2025 posts counted five two-person tables, one urging readers to book. Four 2026 posts say about five tables. Three call the room small and six call it quiet.
- Most walk from Itaewon Station exit 4. Four posts describe the walk, putting it at seven or seven to eight minutes; one adds that the Yongsan-gu Office bus stop is also within walking distance.

Parking

There is no parking at the shop. Both posts by people who drove used the Yongsan-gu Office car park; one recalled a weekday when it was full and they had to find a private lot. The 'no parking' lines in other posts are copied listing info.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Most walk from Itaewon Station exit 4. Four posts describe the walk, putting it at seven or seven to eight minutes; one adds that the Yongsan-gu Office bus stop is also within walking distance.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 15 of 23 posts |
|---|
The shop is upstairs. Fifteen posts describe going up to the second floor, four of them by the stairs. Three name the ground-floor tenant as a hwangtae-soup restaurant, one as a Korean-beef dining room. One visitor circled the block assuming it was at street level; another warned it is easy to miss from below.
The shop is on the second floor; nobody mentioned a basement, and nobody said whether there is a lift.
Nobody wrote about steps at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. Four posts mention climbing stairs to the second floor — that does not mean there is no lift, only that no one mentioned one.
Two posts mention the toilet — one behind the entrance, one on the same floor and clean. Whether it is inside the shop or in the shared hallway, and whether it is split by gender, we don't know.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up. The shrimp, apple-brie and apricot sandwiches were 13,800, 11,600 and 11,800 won in May 2026 and 14,800, 13,600 and 12,800 won from August. Lasagna went from 21,000 won (July 2025) to 23,500 won (2026). Two posts found it good value; one said 17,800 won for the jambon-burrata sandwich is not a light price. A sandwich plus a drink comes to roughly 20,000 won.
- Opening hours have changed several times: Monday 11–4 and Wednesday–Sunday 10–8 with Tuesdays off in three 2025 posts; Wednesday–Sunday 8–6 in March 2026; daily 8–6 in May 2026; and daily 9–6 (last order 5) in sixteen posts from August 2026, mostly copied listing info. A 2025 post noted that unplanned closures are announced on Instagram.
- Waits vary. One October 2026 visitor waited about 40 minutes for a takeaway sandwich after 1 pm. One found every seat taken on a rainy day, another only one seat free around 11 am on a weekend, while a May 2026 visitor had a relaxed weekend afternoon at 3 pm. Nobody described queueing to get in.
- Two 2025 posts booked a table (one through CatchTable); no 2026 post mentions booking, so we don't know whether reservations are still taken. Many posts give the phone number as 0507-1345-8750. One post copied a note that group orders should be placed two to three days ahead.
- Of the visitors who said who they came with, three went with family, two with a partner, one with a friend and one alone; one of the family visits included a child. The rest did not say.
- Many posts say dogs are welcome, but mostly as copied listing info or stock phrasing; only one visitor actually saw a customer with a dog.
- Many posts follow a template. Thirteen from August–September 2026 reuse the same phrases (Giorgio Morandi mood, a hideaway, pet-friendly, about five tables), two of them with word-for-word identical bread lists and menu prices. Five from October 2026 share the same autumn-menu and catering blurb. None disclose sponsorship; two say they paid their own way.
