A Korean restaurant in a hanok at Insadong-gil 19-18, serving set meals of pot rice with about ten side dishes, ordered by the single portion. The soy-marinated crab set is 38,000 won; the barley-aged croaker and pork rib sets are 28,000 won, and many posts finished by pouring water into the pot for scorched-rice tea. August 2026 posts got cherry tomatoes for dessert, October posts got steamed sweet potato. We read 19 posts from 29 July to 14 October 2026; one was about the tea house next door and was set aside, leaving 18 visit reports. Many share the same wording and order, which suggests commissioned posts, though none disclosed payment.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The old hanok layout is kept, with rooms off a corridor. Nine posts mentioned private rooms. One described tables set in small rooms along the corridor and said ordering and calling staff were done by a tablet on the table.
- Set meals can be ordered one portion at a time; five posts said so, one noting that croaker sets elsewhere often require two. Many pairs ordered one crab and one croaker set to share.
- Ten posts said the seasoning was not heavy — the crab not overly salty, the side dishes mildly seasoned. None called it salty.
- Fried eggplant was the side dish posts singled out most; five called it crisp, one said it came out hot, freshly fried. Three posts said they got refills of side dishes.
1 more
- Three posts noted high chairs. Three said the restroom is inside, and two that it is separated by gender.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

No post said which floor the dining rooms are on or whether there are stairs; the '1st floor' in the address is copied text. This means nobody wrote about it, not that there are none.
We don't know whether the entrance has a step or is reachable by wheelchair or stroller; nobody wrote about it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- One post stands apart: a self-paid visit on 12 August 2026 said the side dishes looked like they had sat out and dried, the croaker was completely dried out, and the rice slightly undercooked. The other 17 did not disclose funding and repeat the same phrases, so the volume of praise alone says little.
- Sweetness is split one to one: one post said the crab was not sweet, another that the pork rib marinade was sweet.
- No post reported waiting. One found free tables after 1 pm, another found the place empty; one walk-in said the hall filled with groups after 6 pm.
- Three posts walked from Jongno 3-ga station, one saying about five minutes. Exit numbers and distances to Anguk and Jonggak were copied from listings.
- Only four posts said who they went with: two with a husband, one with a friend, one with parents — too few to say who usually goes.
- Fourteen posts give the same hours — 11:30 to 21:00, break 15:00 to 17:00, last order 20:00 — all copied from listings; seven say the break is weekdays only. No post mentions a closing day.
- Prices were the same in every post from July to October; a meal is 28,000 or 38,000 won per set. Two posts said it was reasonable; none called it expensive.
- Many posts list the phone number 02-733-5507, copied from the listing. Posts say reservations are possible, but none said they actually booked.
