Eomyongbaek Dwaeji Gukbap Jonggak
엄용백 돼지국밥 종각점 Dwaeji gukbap means pork soup with rice; Eomyongbaek is the brand name, which none of the posts explain, and Jonggak marks this as the Seoul branch of a Busan chain.

A Busan-style pork-soup house set in a hanok tucked between office blocks at Insadong 3-gil 20. The menu centers on two bowls, a milky rich broth and a clear one, both listed at 14,000 won in October 2026 posts; the rice comes already in the soup, with boiled pork and anchovy dip (29,000 won, medium) and pork stomach (8,000 won) on the side. We read 30 posts dated 6 December 2025 to 15 October 2026; 15 turned out to be about other restaurants and were set aside, and 11 of the remaining 15 describe an actual meal here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Five posts describe waiting. One found six parties ahead after the weekday lunch peak in November 2025 and waited 30 minutes, and the same writer still had to queue at breakfast in December. Another was third in line at 11:30, and another gave up in October 2025 when the wait at 11:20 on a weekday was already an hour. Only one post walked straight in, around 4 p.m. on a Saturday. Two used Tablelinq's remote queue, and one waited sitting on the hanok's wooden porch.
- Four posts mention outdoor seating. One arrived at 12:13 on a Sunday to a full dining room and was seated straight away on the empty terrace; another skipped it because the day was hot. One more was told the outdoor seats were not open that day.
- Five posts say the pork has no off smell. One compares the rich broth to tonkotsu ramen, and another says garlic and scallion keep it from feeling greasy at all.
- Four posts say the bowls come loaded with meat. One, eating after a hike, found a single bowl a little small and notes there is no large size.
2 more
- Two posts describe floor seating: one says the low tables have a sunken footwell that makes sitting easy, the other mentions low tables out in the courtyard. One post notes there are both shoes-off and shoes-on tables.
- Two posts are solo meals. One felt awkward taking a large table alone because there is no counter seating; the other was given a roomy four-seat table.

Parking is disputed. One post used the free first hour at the Hanaro Building lot right behind and found it easy; another rated parking two stars because there is no dedicated lot. Two more posts repeat the Hanaro Building notice, but only as copied listing text.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor level from experience. One mentions walking up to the entrance, but not whether that means steps or a slope. The listing's own note calling it a single-story building is copied text, not a visitor's report.
No one mentions a step at the door or coming in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we do not know, not that it cannot be done; posts mention a hanok porch and floor seating, so it is worth checking ahead.
No post says where the restroom is or whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices have gone up: the two main bowls were 13,000 won in posts from November-December 2025 and 14,000 won in October 2026. We do not know when in between the change came. The only full bill we can reconstruct is two rich bowls plus a medium pork platter, 57,000 won for two.
- Opening hours appear in five posts, all copied from the listing. Four agree on 8:00-21:30 with last order at 20:50 and a weekday break from 15:30 to 17:00; one gives 11:00-22:00 with a 16:00-17:00 break. One post did eat breakfast here. Dishes do sell out: one post found the regional bowls and the boiled pork gone, another says the cold pork tasting plate is sometimes gone by late afternoon.
- The phone number, 0507-1342-8092, is copied from the listing in two posts. No one says they booked a table; two say they joined the queue remotely through Tablelinq.
