Shade Tree is an Italian restaurant on the fourth floor of a building on Ichon-ro 64-gil in Ichon-dong, Yongsan. Posts list pasta and risotto at 21,000–29,000 won, wood-fired pizza at 22,000–29,000 won and a striploin steak at 45,000 won; many pairs shared one pasta and one pizza. What sets it apart
- People come for the windows: 19 of the 21 visit posts mention the floor-to-ceiling glass or a window seat. The Han River is distant, though — posts describe it as a peek or just barely visible, and one saw only sunset between apartment blocks. One lunchtime post found the sun so strong they lowered the blind. One post says river-facing seats are assigned in order of booking.
- Nine posts mention a single private room at the back, repeatedly described as seating 5 to 8. One found it already in use; a party of seven could not book it in time and sat in the main hall.
- Nearly every post repeats that corkage is free, mostly as copied information. Two posts actually brought wine: one brought two bottles and was given an ice bucket, the other brought a Chardonnay and got glasses for everyone and a chilling bucket.

Two posts drove and used the valet, who meets cars in front of the ground-floor animal clinic. The fee of 3,000 won for two hours plus 1,000 won per extra 10 minutes is copied information in many posts; one copied block says 5,000 won instead, so we cannot confirm the current fee.

Seven posts say the restaurant is on the building's fourth floor; none describe a basement or ground-floor room.
The room is on the fourth floor, yet no post mentions a lift, stairs or a step at the door. One says a stroller could move easily between tables, but not how it got upstairs. This means nobody wrote about it, not that there is no access.
Three posts say the toilets are inside the restaurant and three say they are separated by sex; one places them opposite the cashier's desk.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 9 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Two posts say they came by subway. Walking time from Ichon Station exit 4 is given variously as 5, 8 and 10 minutes, and most directions are copied from the restaurant's own notice.
- No post reports waiting. One says lunch was nearly full and another that every table was taken; six posts booked ahead. We do not know how long walk-ins wait.
- Opening hours appear only as copied blocks. Fifteen posts agree on weekdays 11:00–22:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break and last orders at 14:30 and 21:30. Weekend closing is split: two say 22:00, one says 22:30. No post mentions a closing day.
- Prices are menu prices from August–October 2026 posts and none changed in that window. No post gives a bill total or cost per person; two felt it was good value, one of them about the 45,000-won steak.
- The phone number 02-792-3788 is copied in many posts; reservations described are made through Naver Booking, and no post mentions booking by phone.
- Of the 30 posts, seven were template copy with identical phrasing in the same order, and one described dishes not on the menu; we did not count them. Of the 21 visit posts, two disclose free meals, three say they paid, and the rest say nothing. Nearly all end with the same hashtags and booking link.
- Five posts mention a spring 2026 remodel; every post we read is from after it, so no pre-remodel details are mixed in. One post names the building differently from the others.
