Jeongmyeon
정면 Jeongmyeon joins jeong (情, warmth or heart) and myeon (麵, noodles) — the house describes it as a small noodle shop carrying the cook's intent.

A small noodle shop on a Hwayang-dong side street between Konkuk University and Children's Grand Park stations, serving a clear-broth baekmyeon and a spicy hongmyeon at 11,000 won each. You eat at a bar wrapped around the open kitchen and finish by tipping the rice that comes with it into the leftover broth. Sides are cold sliced pork (6,500 won half, 11,000 won full) and house-made squash sikhye (3,500 won). We read 3 posts, from August to October 2026, all from people who ate there.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All three posts mention a wait. One arrived at lunch to find a queue already and put their name down; another walked straight in around 7 pm on a Friday but saw later arrivals wait. One notes a CatchTable kiosk at the door for registering. No one says how many minutes they waited.
- It is a small room. One post describes a single L-shaped stainless counter seating about 7 to 8, and the other two also say it is mostly bar seating. All three watched the cooking in the open kitchen.
- All three posts call the hongmyeon spicy. Both posts that ordered the cold pork say it had no gamey smell.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 3 posts read) |
|---|
No post describes the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. Nobody wrote about it, which is not the same as there being a problem.
The toilet is outside the dining room — one post says you go out the back door and turn right. No one says whether it is separated by sex or how big it is.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- One post says it is under 10 minutes' walk from exit 4 of Children's Grand Park station, a bit closer than Konkuk University station. No one mentions buses.
- Only one post says who they went with (a friend). We can't say how it works for solo diners or families.
- All three posts give the same hours — 11:30 to 21:00, break 14:50 to 17:00, last order 19:50 — but each copied them from the listing. No one gives a closing day.
- Prices match between the August and October 2026 posts (11,000 won per noodle bowl, 3,500 won for sikhye). One couple took the 36,000 won two-person set, about 18,000 won a head with pork and a drink. Nobody called it expensive or cheap.
- Two posts list the phone number 0507-1401-3592. One post's info box mentions booking or remote queueing through Naver and CatchTable, but no one says they booked.
