Yeonnam Toma's Bukchon branch serves pasta, Japanese-style rice bowls and katsu from a ground-floor space down an alley at Bukchon-ro 5-gil 39, in the building with an Ediya Coffee, on the walk from Anguk Station towards Jeongdok Library. Pasta and risotto run 17,000-18,000 won, rice bowls 12,000-16,000 won and katsu sets 14,000-17,000 won; no post from August to October reported a price change. What sets it apart
- Sixteen posts walked from Anguk Station, most of them straight out of Exit 1, with times given as 7, 8 and 10 minutes. One local notes that map apps route you via Exit 2 but Exit 1 is quicker. The restaurant is hard to see from the main road; one post says to follow the ENTRANCE sign down the alley beside the Ediya.
- Waits depend on when you go. Five posts queued; two walked straight in on a weekday or found it quiet. One family was eighth in line at the start of lunch over the Chuseok holiday and waited about 30 minutes; one weekday-evening visitor found three groups ahead; one weekend-lunch visitor was caught off guard by a long wait.
- Seven posts describe a waiting area at the entrance, from a bench under the sign to a separate waiting space. There is a CatchTable queue machine at the door; one post relays the rule that once you are within five groups you must stay nearby, or your turn passes to the next group.
- Eight posts booked through Naver or CatchTable, or advised doing so. Posts describe the room nearly full at 6 pm on a weekday and at 6:30 pm on a Thursday. Groups of five or six or more are asked to phone, according to the restaurant's notice quoted in one post.

Several mention a screen titled 'How to enjoy Yeonnam Toma' that explains, for example, to work the pollock roe in slowly and to wrap the risotto in perilla leaves; one notes the tablet is multilingual, and another that spicy dishes can be set to not spicy on the screen.

Three posts say there is no parking of its own. The one post that drove used the Jeongdok Library car park across the road and found it convenient; nearby paid parking is put at about 3,000 won an hour. 'No parking' labels in copied info blocks were not counted.

Posts differ on the level. Two say it is on the ground floor of the Ediya Coffee building; one says it feels slightly half-basement and is hard to spot from a distance. We did not rely on the '1st floor' in the address.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. Families went, but nobody mentions a pushchair. That means no one wrote about it, not that access is impossible.
One post found the toilet inside the restaurant and another said it was roomy and clean. Nobody said whether it is separated by gender, so we don't know.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- One post differs on seasoning: it found the food a bit salty, while four said it was not salty.
- Prices are recorded identically from post to post; a pasta, a rice bowl and a side for two comes to about 37,000 won. One post found it expensive, noting an 18,000-won pasta is not a light lunch; one called it reasonable; one put it at the high teens to 20,000 won a head and stopped short of a verdict.
- Opening hours come almost entirely from copied info blocks. The 17 posts from 4 September onwards give 11:30 to 21:00 daily with last orders at 20:30; three August posts give a 21:20 close. We read that as a change in the listing in between, though the restaurant never announced it. One post listing 21:30 with a 15:30-17:00 break alongside a different address (Gyedong-gil 103) was set aside. No post mentions a day off.
- Ten posts give the phone number as 0507-1338-9875. One gives 02-763-8068, in a block that also carries a different address. Bookings go through Naver and CatchTable; groups of five or six or more are asked to phone.
- Many posts look like they were written to one brief: 16 use the same three search phrases in the same order and mention that the chain is company-run, and several share an almost identical line about Bukchon feeling nicer after the meal. None discloses sponsorship. Claims such as 'company-run' and 'domestic pork loin' repeat the restaurant's own messaging, and we did not count them.
