A galbitang (beef short-rib soup) restaurant, the Myeongdong main branch, on Toegye-ro 16-gil near Exit 4 of Myeongdong Station. A bowl of galbitang is 15,000 won, and the menu runs to braised ribs, bone soups and cold noodles. We read 3 posts, dated September 23 to September 28, 2026, and all three describe a visit. All three ordered the small spicy braised ribs (53,000 won) with stone-pot rice.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Side dishes are self-serve. Two posts mention it: you can take as much kimchi and pickled onion as you like, from a self-serve bar on one side of the room.
- All three posts say the portions are large. The small braised ribs fed two, and one post said the two-person rice pot holds a lot.
- Two posts noticed many foreign tourists inside. One saw the room fill up at the end of the workday.
- One post says there are baby chairs; the same post notes two-person tables and a spacious room.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
No post describes the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. We don't know.
No post says where the restroom is or whether it is split by gender. We don't know.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- The three posts came out within five days and repeat the same keywords, the same order and the same info block in the same sequence. None discloses sponsorship, but they read like commissioned copy, so keep in mind that everything here rests on these three.
- Two posts say it is walkable from Myeongdong Station; one gives about 350 m from Exit 4. Nobody mentions buses.
- No post says they had to wait. One mentions the room filling after work and being packed at lunch, so we don't know whether there is a queue.
- Only one post says who they went with (a coworker); the other two don't say. Posts call it good for solo meals or family gatherings, but none went that way.
- Two posts give the same hours, Monday to Saturday 11:00-22:00 with a 15:00-17:00 break, but both copied them into an info block. Only one mentions Sunday closure and a 20:50 last order.
- Prices come from one post's copy of the September 2026 menu: galbitang from 15,000 to 24,000 won, small spicy braised ribs 53,000 won, rice for two 3,000 won. Sharing the ribs comes to about 28,000 won each. No post called it expensive.
- No post gives a phone number. 'Naver booking available' appears only in one post's header line; nobody actually booked.
