Yeogiga Joketne
여기가좋겠네 Yeogiga joketne is everyday Korean for 'this place looks good' — what you say when you settle on where to eat.

A chicken-stew house in the eating alley outside Kyung Hee University's main gate (25 Hoegi-ro 21-gil, Dongdaemun-gu). Dakdoritang runs 15,000 / 23,000 / 30,000 won for small, medium and large, the pork-and-rice-cake side is 7,000, and the pot arrives cooked from the kitchen for another five minutes or so on the table burner. Posts from September 2026 on give hours of 10:30 to 1 a.m. Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday; posts through January 2026 had it closing at 11 p.m. and open Sundays. The shop moved here before any post we read. We read 16 posts from December 2025 to October 2026; one was about the shop next door and was set aside, and 12 describe an actual meal.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Seven posts call it cheap and none call it expensive. The stew's prices never changed across December 2025 to October 2026; one post notes a small stew plus the pork side for two comes to 22,000 won.
- Five posts say portions are large. One pair ordered a medium plus the pork side, left food, and vowed to get a small next time; another pair finished a medium and said a small would have felt short.
- Six posts say you refill side dishes yourself from a self-serve bar. Four count five side dishes, and fish-cake stir-fry, bean sprouts, radish salad and kimchi come up again and again.
- One post waited, about 20 minutes at 7 p.m. on a weekday. Two walked straight in, one at lunch and one on a weekday evening. Another found it nearly full at 8 p.m.
2 more
- Three returning visitors note the move — about 100 meters from the old spot — and say the new room is bigger and cleaner. Three posts call the room spacious, with a back section opened once the front fills.
- Three posts give the walk from Exit 1 of Hoegi Station — one says ten minutes, another adds the Dongdaemun 01 village bus.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
3 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | 2 of 11 posts |

No one described the floor from experience; the address says ground floor, and that is all we have.
No post mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. We don't know.
Two posts say the restroom is inside, at the back. Nobody said whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 14 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Hours changed. Four posts through January 2026 have an 11 p.m. close (three say 10 p.m. on Sundays), and one ate there on a Sunday; posts from September 2026 say 1 a.m. and closed Sundays. We don't know when in between it changed, and most of these times are copied info blocks.
- Five posts say who they came with, and it varies: a partner twice, a friend, family, and a group from an exercise club once each.
- Two people spent 22,000 to 30,000 won in these posts. No price rise shows up, but we have nothing after October 2026.
- Two posts list the phone as 02-968-9112 and one as 0507-1376-9112. No one said from experience whether they take reservations.
- Three posts aren't counted: a neighborhood listicle entry, a flowery piece with no actual visit details, and an ad-padded blurb whose prices (8,000 won a serving) match no one else. The 'all domestic ingredients' line is the shop's own claim, copied, and we don't rely on it.
