HORNO

오르노 합정점 Oreuno Hapjeong-jeom Horno is the Spanish word for an oven — fitting for a place built around a wood-fired pizza oven.

Compiled from 19 blog posts read in fullSources →

Horno Hapjeong is a wood-fired pizza place on the first basement level of Delight Square 2, the building with the Kyobo bookstore at Hapjeong Station, also serving pasta, pane, salads and paella. Two rooms face each other across the corridor: the original, dark and hushed, and a bright white second room that opened before mid-August 2026. Pizzas run from 21,900 won (margherita) to 35,500 won (fig and Emmental), the pane dishes are 29,500 won, and 13 of the 19 visits ordered the fig pizza. We read 30 posts dated 18 August to 10 October 2026; nine were about other Horno branches and two were list posts we did not count.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There is terrace seating facing the plaza, mentioned in 12 posts. One weekend-lunch visitor found it already full and another said it is always full. One post noted the second room's terrace is roofed, so it works in rain; another complained of lots of mosquitoes because the terrace side was left open.
  2. The kitchen is open and the oven is in view: ten posts say they watched pizzas going into the wood fire, and one writer got up and stood watching for a long while.
  3. Eight posts mention private rooms. The original room has sliding doors that close; the second room has half-open booths for two to eight. One post said the room needs a minimum spend of 200,000 won and is limited to 90 minutes.
  4. Eight posts booked ahead or recommended booking, via Naver or CatchTable. One says you can choose terrace, room or hall when booking; an August post mentions a 50,000 won prepaid deposit.

  1. Accounts of waiting differ. Two posts walked straight in (one at a weekend lunch, one with a booking); one said a weekend wait is a given; one walk-in, facing a room full of reservations, got lucky when a table opened. No post gave a wait time in minutes.
  2. Five posts say you order from a QR code on the table. One mentions a standard 90-minute seating, extendable if the room is not full.
  3. Company: six posts with friends, five with a partner or spouse, two with a mother, one group of four. Several suggest it for wedding-invitation get-togethers or blind dates.
  4. Five posts found the staff friendly; one said no server came and they had to fend for themselves. An August visitor with a dog said staff made a fuss of it.
  5. Prices: pizzas 21,900–35,500 won, pastas 21,500–28,500 won, pane 29,500 won, sodas 9,000 won. One group spent over 100,000 won on three pastas, a pizza and drinks and called it expensive. Two posts found portions small — one pasta was 'a forkful or two', and four people found five dishes not enough — while one couple left full on a pizza and a pane.

Posts saying you can park4 of 19 posts

Parking is two hours free in the Mapo Hangang Prugio 2 underground garage; four posts say they parked. Several copy the warning that the neighbouring garage 1 is not covered. One writer said the free parking was a big reason for choosing the place.

Getting inside

In a basement6 of 19 posts
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 19 posts read)

It is one floor below ground. Six posts describe going down to find it, four of them by escalator. The front opens onto a sunken plaza, and one writer said it does not feel like a cramped underground arcade.

None of the 19 visits says whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in or whether there is a step at the door. It is underground and the only route anyone describes is the escalator — that does not mean there is no lift, only that nobody wrote about one. An accessible parking space appears only in one copied info block.

One post says there is no toilet inside the restaurant — you use the building's, a bit of a walk away. No other visit mentions where it is; separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied info.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Three posts describe walking from Hapjeong Station exit 8; distances like '5 minutes' or '337 m' are all copied from listings.
  • No post visited with children. Three mention a small playground in front of the second room's terrace with families' children playing; one saw high chairs in the original room.
  • Opening hours: 13 visits list 10:00–23:00 daily, eight with last order at 22:00. All are copied from listings, none confirmed in person, and no visit mentions a closing day.
  • Two phone numbers circulate: 02-6949-0887 in six posts and 0507-1385-4710 in two. Most bookings were made on Naver or CatchTable; one post says room bookings need a follow-up phone call.
  • No post disclosed sponsorship and four said they paid themselves. But two posts share an identical hashtag block and the same 0507 number, suggesting a common brief, and a post about the Magok branch said the fig pizza shows up so often because it is a required dish for blog reviewers. Read the 13 fig-pizza orders with that in mind.
  • The fig dishes are an autumn special; posts mention other fruit pizzas such as Korean melon in summer, so menu and prices change with the season. Nothing we read describes the place before the second room opened.
