Mudaeryuk
무대륙 Mudaeryuk is the Korean name for Mu, the legendary lost continent; one blogger closed with Minhwi Lee's song of the same name, titled 'Lost Land' in English.

Mudaeryuk is a cafe-cum-bar in an old building on a side street between Hapjeong and Sangsu stations. By day people bring laptops or books over coffee and cake; in the evening it is wine and cocktails with tacos, curry and pasta. The only post with prices, from August 2025, lists an Americano at 5,500 won, a shakerato at 7,500 and an affogato or lemon pound cake at 8,000. We read 21 posts dated 20 January 2025 to 7 October 2026; 16 describe an actual visit (one was about a different shop and four were a delivery, a gig notice and bare check-in lists).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There is outdoor seating: five posts mention it, one describing sitting out on blankets in the ground-floor yard. One post saw a notice on the door to the yard about smoking and a three-hour limit when the place is full; it is the only post to mention a time limit.
- Two posts came with a dog and four in all say dogs are welcome; one says staff bring a water bowl when you order. One post says pets are allowed in the outdoor area, so whether dogs may come inside is not clear.
- Six posts call it spacious. One describes two buildings joined together; two mention seats along large windows. One post says the upstairs floor opens only on Friday to Sunday afternoons.
- Four posts drank wine here; one had a couple of glasses in the afternoon with no food, another a cocktail alone in the daytime. One post passed on that alcohol is sold only from 6 pm, but that was hearsay and we don't rely on it.
1 more
- It is walkable from the subway: four posts name Hapjeong exit 7 or Sangsu exit 4, putting the walk at 5, 10 and 8 to 10 minutes. One said the sign is so inconspicuous they wondered if they had the right place.

Seven posts say there is parking in front, but only two write from experience: one says it holds just two or three cars, with the Dangin public car park as the fallback; another drove in with her dog and had no trouble.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
It is walkable from the subway: four posts name Hapjeong exit 7 or Sangsu exit 4, putting the walk at 5, 10 and 8 to 10 minutes. One said the sign is so inconspicuous they wondered if they had the right place.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 1 of 15 posts |
|---|
No visitor wrote about which floor they entered on. One gig notice places a show in the basement, but it is not a visit and we didn't count it; the '1F' in the address is just the registered listing.
Nobody mentioned steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there are none.
No post said where the toilets are or whether they are separated by sex.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split one to one on power outlets: one found only two or three tables with sockets, another said there were plenty. Four posts agree that many people come to work on laptops.
- Noise level splits one to one: one post found it calm enough to talk, another said the music was rather loud, though not annoying.
- No post describes queuing. Two did say seats were scarce on weekends and that they had to scramble for an indoor table.
- Opening hours appear in four posts; two (August 2025 and September 2026) agree on 11:00 to midnight daily. An October 2026 post says until 1 am, a January 2025 post says from noon. Three of these are pasted-in info blocks, and the 11 pm kitchen close appears only once.
- Only one post, from August 2025, gives prices, so we don't know current prices or what the food costs. One other post called it fair value for the portions.
- Two posts give different phone numbers (02-324-9478 and 02-332-8333). None says whether reservations are taken.
- Two posts from August–September 2026 describe the exterior, window seats and furniture in almost identical sentences, suggesting a shared script; one is a designated-driver app's promotional blog. Neither discloses sponsorship.
