The Hapjeong branch of the Jiho Hanbang Samgyetang chain, on the main road between Hapjeong and Mangwon stations at 31 World Cup-ro, Mapo-gu. It serves herbal ginseng chicken soup boiled in earthenware with a tea bag of herbs, in many versions (basic, beauty, perilla, mung bean, black garlic, neungi mushroom, spicy). Autumn 2026 posts list the basic and beauty bowls at 19,000 won, perilla and mung bean at 23,000, black garlic and neungi at 26,000. Ginseng liquor arrives when you sit down and a tea after the meal. What sets it apart

Writers say it comes as a whole small bottle rather than a glass — one counted about six glasses — and one post says a bottle costs 8,000 won to buy. The after-meal tea varies: most got jehocha, but one January 2026 post got sujeonggwa, and one November 2025 writer said they had never once been given the tea.

No one says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair can get in. One August 2026 post only notes the room was wide enough for a stroller. Three posts mention, while giving directions, that it is on the ground floor.
Three posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant; one adds that it is split by gender and fairly clean.

What we do not know
- Only two posts mention waiting: on the last 'boknal' of 2025 a queue started right as the writer walked in at lunch, and on a weekday at 6 pm the day before a boknal it was not busy. Nobody says what an ordinary day is like — that is unknown, not a sign there is no wait.
- Prices went up. Posts from October 2025 to May 2026 list the basic and beauty bowls at 18,000 won; August and September 2026 posts say 19,000. Mung bean went from 22,000 won (November 2025) to 23,000 (autumn 2026). No one called it expensive; one post called it reasonable for the ingredients.
- Eighteen posts give the same hours, 11:00 to 22:00 daily, mostly copied from the Naver listing. Two posts point out there is no afternoon break. On closures they disagree: one says open every day of the year, another says closed over the major holidays.
- Twelve posts give the phone number, 02-333-8827. On reservations, one post says booking was possible but the restaurant was swamped that boknal; other mentions of Naver booking are copied from the listing.
- Most posts from April to October 2026 repeat the same phrases almost word for word (20-year tradition, HACCP, a good place to show foreign friends Korean food, 'starts with a bowl, ends with a full table'). Of those, one discloses sponsorship and one says it was a reviewer program; the rest say nothing. The three posts that say the writer paid are all from November 2025 to January 2026. Claims about the patented broth, free-range roosters and 100% domestic ingredients are the shop's own and we did not count them.
