Jeonghaene

정해네 Jeonghae joins jeong, the 'well' character in Hapjeong, with hae, 'sea' — as two bloggers were told; -ne makes it 'Jeonghae's place'.

Compiled from 12 blog posts read in fullSources →

A two-storey sashimi house in a converted detached home on Worldcup-ro 3-gil, a walk from Hapjeong Station exit 8; the sign reads Jeonghaene. The most-ordered dish was the aged sashimi and seafood platter (59,000 won for two, seven posts), and all twelve posts from actual visits describe a full spread of free side dishes before the fish. We read 13 posts dated June 27 to October 1, 2026, 12 of them from visits; the place opened recently, so they all fall within those four months.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The free spread before the sashimi is what these posts dwell on: all twelve visit posts mention it, with flying-fish-roe rice and steamed egg recurring. The fried item changed — posts from June 27 to July 19, 2026 describe shrimp tempura, while four posts from August 28–30 describe a fish cutlet. One July post complained that shrimp came instead of the advertised fish cutlet and that the spread felt thin.
  2. Eight posts mention private rooms. One gives a 12-seat room downstairs and a 14-seat room upstairs; a family who booked through Naver for a birthday lunch used an upstairs room.
  3. Seven posts call the slices thick; one disagreed, calling them neither thin nor thick.
  4. Eleven posts walked from Hapjeong Station, giving 3, 4–5, 5, 5, 6 and 10 minutes; most cite exit 8, one exit 7. One advises first-timers to follow the main road rather than the alleys.

The most ordered dish is Jeonghaene hoe-modum + haemul-modum (정해네 회모둠 + 해물모둠) — 7 of 12 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park3 of 12 posts

Parking is mixed: three posts say you can park in front (one says two or three cars, another that space is tight so call ahead), while one points to nearby public or paid lots. Other parking lines were copied listing text and we did not count them.

Where it is

Map showing where Jeonghaene is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Eleven posts walked from Hapjeong Station, giving 3, 4–5, 5, 5, 6 and 10 minutes; most cite exit 8, one exit 7. One advises first-timers to follow the main road rather than the alleys.

Getting inside

Second floor8 of 12 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 3 (of 12 posts read)
Step at the entrance2 of 12 posts
Toilet inside5 of 12 posts
Separate restrooms4 of 12 posts

There are steps at the entrance: two posts say you climb stairs even to the ground floor, and one warns the inner staircase is steep for strollers and older people. A copied listing in one post says the entrance is wheelchair-accessible, but no one reports actually going in with a wheelchair or stroller, and no one mentions a lift.

The toilets are split by floor: four posts say the men's is on the ground floor and the women's upstairs. One lists hand soap, mouthwash, floss, hair ties, a comb and hand cream laid out.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 13 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post mentions waiting for a table. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is never a wait; one post found the inner room full of a large group and another described it as crowded.
  • Two posts went as couples, two with family and one with friends; the rest don't say. One family brought a primary-school child.
  • All opening hours come from copied listing blocks: seven posts give 11:30–23:30, one closes at 22:30, one says 15:00–24:00; six give a 15:00–16:00 break. Three posts up to July 11, 2026 say closed on the 2nd and 4th Sundays, four from July 19 on say every Sunday, so the closing day seems to have changed in between.
  • Only a few prices appear: 59,000 won for the platter for two (two posts), 25,000 won for the cold raw-fish soup (two posts), 15,000 won for lunch bowls, 10,000 won for pollack stew. Six posts call it good value, but nobody gives prices for the small, medium or large sashimi, or a total bill.
  • Six posts copy the phone number 0507-1318-5881; only one says it booked, via Naver. Eleven of the 13 posts don't say whether they were sponsored and one is tagged as sponsored. Posts cluster in early July and late August 2026 and repeat the same review-event offers (highball, ramyeon, rice bowl) and hashtags. Claims like 'shipped daily from Yeonan Pier' and '12-hour aging' are the restaurant's own copy and we did not count them.
