Eurwangni Kkudeokjip Hapjeong Jigyeongjeom

을왕리꾸덕집 합정직영점 Eurwangni is the beach village on Yeongjong Island where the chain began, and kkudeok describes fish dried until firm and chewy — one post says the fish is wind-dried this way before grilling; jip means house.

A charcoal-smoked grilled fish and Jeju crab restaurant on basement level 1 of Delight Square 2, by exit 8 of Hapjeong Station. In posts from Sep–Oct 2026, single mackerel or Atka mackerel is 16,000 won, flame-grilled gochujang pork 18,000 won, mixed fish with sea-eel gangjeong 19,900 won per person, and mixed fish with minari-marinated Jeju crab 28,000 won per person (two minimum). Every order comes with side dishes, clam seaweed soup and a whole pot of pressure-cooked rice, plus a self-serve bar with tteokbokki, japchae, dumplings and scorched-rice tea. Seven posts said you order and pay upfront on a tablet or kiosk at the table. Posts up to April 2026 describe an older set-meal menu with doenjang hot pot. We read 30 posts dated 4 January to 8 October 2026; 25 describe a visit, and 22 of those were written from September 2026 on.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The self-serve bar is what posts mention most: nineteen said they went back for more side dishes, with tteokbokki, japchae, Seoul-style dumplings, braised aged kimchi and scorched-rice tea named again and again. One post saw the tteokbokki refilled right after it ran low; one that arrived just before last order found the bar largely empty because the kitchen was closing.
  2. Easy by subway: ten posts said it is close to Hapjeong Station or connected to it underground. One post that walked above ground said it took about eight minutes.
  3. Seasoning runs mild: eleven posts said the food was not salty and none said it was. One writer who normally avoids soy-marinated crab for its saltiness said this one was not salty at all.
  4. The crab and the eel gangjeong are often called sweet — seven posts said so, and one found the crab the sweetest she had eaten, too sweet for someone wanting a salty marinade. One post praised the pork for not being too sweet.
2 more
  1. Fifteen posts called the room large. Posts mention tables for four, six and eight, partitions between tables, and a high ceiling.
  2. Fourteen posts found the portions large; four people ordering two two-person sets got seven fish, and a two-person pot of rice filled three bowls. One post found the single mackerel a little small.

Posts saying you can park4 of 24 posts

Parking is in the Delight Square 2 basement garage; four posts wrote from actually parking there. Nearly every post repeats the restaurant's 'up to four hours free' notice, often with the warning that the separate Delight Square 1 garage is not covered.

Getting inside

In a basement8 of 24 posts
Toilet insideyes 0 · no 2 (of 24 posts read)

The restaurant is one floor below ground. Eight posts described going down to find it — by escalator, or down the stairs following the Kyobo bookstore sign — and some use the Star Bottle liquor shop next door as a landmark.

No post describes entering with a wheelchair or stroller; 'wheelchair-accessible entrance' appears only in one copied facilities list. One post says you can take the lift up from the garage but does not say they did. We don't know — nobody wrote from experience.

The toilets are in the mall, not inside the restaurant — two posts said so, one joking that reaching the women's room is a journey. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in a copied facilities list.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Expect a wait at lunch. Four posts waited or saw a queue — about ten minutes at 1pm on a weekday, a line forming just after noon on weekends. Two did not wait: a holiday visit with a noon booking, and an early dinner on 31 December. Those who booked walked straight in.
  • One post dissents on service. Five called the staff kind — one was brought an extra chair for bags — while one was upset by a rude server and said she would not return.
  • Who went: family visits are most common at six (with children or parents), friends four, and one each with a partner and with a larger group. The two posts with children mention high chairs and a kids' salad bar for ages 5 to 10.
  • Opening hours agree across posts: daily 11:00–21:00, last order 20:00, a 15:30–17:00 break on weekdays only, lunch last order 14:50. All are copied from the restaurant's own listing; no post mentions a closing day.
  • Opinions on price split. A meal runs 16,000–28,000 won per person; four people ordering four sets paid 95,800 won. Two posts found it expensive, four thought it fair given the self-serve bar. Prices changed between April and August 2026: the 21,000-won original set (January) and 25,000-won deluxe set (February) gave way to today's 19,900- and 28,000-won sets.
  • The menu changed between April and August 2026. Posts from January, February and April describe set meals with doenjang hot pot; from September, posts describe 13 side dishes, seaweed soup and rice with tteokbokki and japchae at the self-serve bar, and one returning visitor noticed the bar was new. Current menu details come only from Sep–Oct posts.
  • The phone number, 0507-1373-1878, is copied consistently across posts. Bookings go through Naver and CatchTable; a booking notice quoted in one post says only half the seats are reservable — the restaurant's own statement.
  • Posts cluster in Sep–Oct 2026: 22 of the 25 visits were written then, many repeating the same lines about TV appearances, a five-step process and 500-degree grilling. Three posts disclose payment, sponsorship or an invitation; six say the writer paid. Claims about TV, process and a '40-year master' marinade are the restaurant's own and we did not count them.
