BEAN BROTHERS
빈브라더스 합정 Bin Beuradeoseu Hapjeong An English name, 'Bean Brothers' — the 'Bb' on the sign is simply its abbreviation; posts call this Hapjeong shop the brand's original roastery cafe.
Compiled from 8 blog posts read in fullSources →
Bean Brothers Hapjeong is a roastery cafe at Tojeong-ro 35-1, on the walk down from Hapjeong Station exit 7 toward the Han River. You pick a bean, order an americano or flat white, and maybe add a slice of cake; posts from March and May 2026 both put an iced americano at 6,500 won. There is seating on two floors. The shop was remodeled sometime before March 2026, so every post we read describes the renovated room rather than the old factory-like interior. We read 20 posts dated March 9 to October 9, 2026. We set aside 9 that were about other Bean Brothers locations (the river-view Coffeehouse Seoul, Hanam, Banpo, Kuala Lumpur) or other businesses. 8 describe an actual visit here.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Three posts mention big windows and daylight — one sat in a corner and said the floor-to-ceiling glass kept it from feeling cramped (August 2026), others note the glass frontage (June) and good light (May). This is easy to confuse with the brand's river-view Coffeehouse Seoul; none of the posts about this shop mention seeing the river.
- One post (May 2026, after a weekend lunch) sat outside, saying there were plenty of outdoor tables.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 4 of 8 posts |
|---|---|
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 8 posts |
Seating is on two levels. Four posts mention the upper floor — one notes the mezzanine-style second floor, another simply lists a ground-floor and an upstairs space, and one sat upstairs and photographed the view looking down. One post says you take stairs up; nobody mentioned an elevator.
No post describes which floor you enter on (the '1st floor' in the address is registry data), and nobody mentioned a basement.
Nobody wrote about a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means we do not know, not that there is a problem. One post mentions stairs up to the second floor.
One post that used the restroom says it is separated by gender, clean, and nicely scented; another lists the same in a copied info block. Nobody said whether it is inside the shop or where it is.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 11 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing here. One July post found it so full they could not sit and took coffee to go, and a May post noted how crowded it was on a weekday. Reports of hour-long CatchTable waits belong to the brand's Coffeehouse Seoul (6th–7th floors, Tojeong-ro 9-gil), so we did not count them. One of those was checked in at this address, but the post itself described the other shop.
- One post describes walking from Hapjeong Station exit 7 down toward the river. The seven-minute walking time appears only in copied info blocks in two posts.
- Only three posts say who they came with: two with friends, one with a husband to study and read. No post says they came alone.
- Five posts all give the hours as 10:00–22:00 daily, three adding a 21:30 last order. Four of them copied info blocks, though; one wrote it in its own words, noting the shop stays open until 10 p.m. One post lists no closing day.
- The only first-hand price is 6,500 won for an iced americano, given by two posts in March and May 2026, and nobody called the shop expensive. No visit post gave a dessert price or the total for coffee plus cake. The 7,500-won figures for filter coffee and cake in a September course post were copied from someone else's review.
- The shop did not move; it was remodeled in place. A March 2026 post already looks back on the old 'factory-like building', and May and June posts describe a recent remodel and reopening. We do not know the exact month it reopened.
- None of the posts about this shop gives a phone number or says whether it takes reservations.
