Table for Four

테이블포포 Teibeul Popo Table for Four — the house says the name comes from the four-seat table the chef's family of four sat around as children; "Popo" is the Korean reading of "for four".

Table for Four is a tasting-menu restaurant on the fifth floor of the Bobos Hannam building on Daesagwan-ro 31-gil in Hannam-dong. Chef Kim Seong-un builds the menu around produce and seafood from his home county of Taean; diners paid 150,000 won per person for lunch and 250,000 won for dinner. The main is a choice of Korean 1++ sirloin or Australian lamb chop, and an oil-sauce spaghettini, canelé and Taean sunchoke tea show up in nearly every post, with toppings that change by season. We read 24 posts dated February 3 to October 12, 2026; 16 of them record an actual meal, the earliest on October 29, 2025. Two posts say the restaurant moved here from Seorae Village.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Ten posts mention a window seat, the floor-to-ceiling glass or the daylight. Two saw Namsan Tower through it. One found the outlook open but unremarkable, like an empty field; two posts note the lot right in front is vacant.
  2. Six posts mention the private rooms, and four ate in one. Three note a 1,000,000-won dinner minimum for the window room, which four dinner courses already cover. One couple got a room simply because it was the last table left.
  3. Nine posts praise the service, and they say why: staff bring the raw Taean ingredient to the table before each dish; one diner saw the cutlery rest wiped at every change; one with a crab allergy got a clam pasta instead; one said the pasta was salty and got a fresh plate. Several posts say that if you mention a birthday or anniversary, a lettered cake or tart from Patisserie Mûre downstairs arrives at the end.
  4. Four posts call it quiet; one disagrees: at a June 2026 lunch the room echoed so much that the server's explanation at the next table drowned out their own.
2 more
  1. Eight posts booked ahead, mostly through CatchTable. A May 2026 post barely got a lunch slot; by August, posts say a month ahead was enough and a two-top was open even on a Saturday. Nobody describes queuing at the door.
  2. Seven posts ordered wine. One heard the list is shared with Bobos Hannam, the wine bar in the basement, and wrote that many bottles ran 500,000 to over 1,000,000 won, with glasses at 50,000 to 150,000 won. One group brought a red and paid corkage but did not say how much.

Getting inside

Lift to the floor1 of 16 posts

Four posts note the restaurant is on the fifth floor, and one rode the elevator up. Nobody wrote about steps at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; we don't know.

Four posts found the restroom spotless, and one noticed mouthwash, floss and sanitary products set out. Whether it is inside the restaurant or split by gender, nobody said.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 20 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Two posts say the restaurant moved here from Seorae Village, but nobody gives a date. Every visit we counted is at the Hannam fifth floor; nothing from the Seorae days is used on this page. One post's copied booking link still carried the Seorae name.
  • No post describes walking in from a subway station or bus stop; the only mention of Hannam or Hangangjin stations comes from list posts.
  • Nobody waited; everyone came with a booking. What happens if you walk in, we don't know.
  • Two posts left the car with the valet. The rates quoted elsewhere (5,000 won for the first two hours) are copied listings; nobody wrote what they actually paid.
  • Opening hours appear in eight posts, all copied from listings. Lunch 12:00–15:00 and dinner 18:00–22:00 agree, but the day off does not: three say closed Sundays, two say open daily, one says closed only on holidays (one adds Sundays are open in May and December). Last orders are 13:00/19:00 in two posts and 14:00/20:00 in one. Check before you go.
  • Prices agree across posts: 150,000 won for lunch, 250,000 won for dinner, per person, before wine. Two diners felt it was worth it; one noted it is not a small sum.
  • Phone numbers vary: 0507-1365-6832 in four posts, 02-797-3665 and 010-2533-6832 once each. Most diners booked on CatchTable; one post copied a note that solo bookings are taken by phone.
