꿈꾸는메밀 Kkumkkuneun memil means 'dreaming buckwheat' — a buckwheat house serving makguksu noodles, buckwheat dumplings and pancakes.
Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →
Kkumkkuneun Memil is a buckwheat specialist on the 7th floor of I'Park Mall The Center, connected to Yongsan Station, next to Outback. Sprout-topped cold or spicy makguksu is 12,500 won, the pollock-roe makguksu launched in October 2026 is 16,000 won, and a two-person set of two noodle bowls with pork and pollock sikhae is 42,000 won. You order on a tablet or kiosk at the table and fetch side dishes and buckwheat water from a self-serve bar. We read 30 posts from March 18 to October 19, 2026, 24 of them from actual visits — 17 of those crowded into October 5–19, right after the new noodle came out.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Side dishes are refilled from a self-serve bar — 17 visit posts said so. Young-radish kimchi and pickled radish come by default, and two posts said ordering gomtang adds cabbage kimchi and kkakdugi. Several went back for the young-radish kimchi more than once; one quoted a sign at the bar begging diners to take only what they will eat.
- Hot buckwheat cooking water is set out next to the side-dish bar, free — 11 posts mentioned it. Most sipped it while waiting; a couple found it bland.
- Ordering is on a table tablet or kiosk — 9 posts said so — where you also pick options like extra sesame oil, no sauce or a large portion. One family removed the spicy sauce for the children this way.
- From Yongsan Station exit 1 you walk into the mall and go up to the 7th floor; four posts described arriving this way.
4 more
- Nine posts called the room large — one estimated 20 to 30 tables, with four- and six-seat tables and a group area; another said most tables are for two. A regular said she often eats here alone because of the many single seats.
- Seven posts called portions generous, the buckwheat pancake above all — one said a single one fed four. One post noted the rice with gomtang was only about half a bowl.
- Eleven posts mentioned a wall covered in autographs from entertainers, YouTubers and politicians. The SBS TV appearance is something the posts repeated from the shop.
- Four posts said the boiled pork had no off smell; one found a slight odor in the chicken garnish on the gomtang.

Parking is in the I'Park Mall garage; two posts drove and registered their car at checkout. The terms differ: the copied listing says the first 120 minutes are free, while a July post described one hour per 10,000 won spent, up to five hours.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
From Yongsan Station exit 1 you walk into the mall and go up to the 7th floor; four posts described arriving this way.

It is not underground but on the mall's 7th floor; six posts described going up to it, most by escalator, which leaves you right in front of it.
The posts disagree on the elevator: one said the elevator does not stop at 7 so you get off at 6 and go up a floor, another said the shop is right in front of the elevator on 7. With one each, we cannot tell which lift is which.
No post said anything about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — we don't know, which is not the same as there being none.
We don't know whether the restroom is inside the shop. One post copied 'separate men's and women's restrooms' from a facilities list; nobody described using it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waits vary. One post waited about five minutes on the waiting bench even off-peak; two sat straight down at a weekend lunch and an early weekend dinner; two said there is often a line but it moves fast. Full rooms were reported at both weekday and weekend lunches.
- Noise is split two to one: two posts found it quiet, one said a full weekend lunch echoed and felt noisy.
- Prices went up: sprout makguksu was 12,000 won in June–July 2026 and 12,500 won from September. The pollock makguksu is listed at both 14,000 and 15,000 won even in October. A meal starts at 12,500 won for one bowl; the two-person set is 42,000 won and up.
- Eighteen posts gave the same hours — daily 11:00 to 22:00, last order 20:45 — but all copied them from the listing. One said no regular closing day is posted; nobody mentioned a mid-day break.
- The phone number is 02-2012-0735. 'Reservations available' only appears in copied facility lists; no post said it booked ahead.
- Seventeen posts landed between October 5 and 19, 2026, around the new noodle's launch, many with the same five hashtags and the same TV clip link. Only one disclosed being a sponsored visit, but this looks like a campaign; the seven self-paid posts from March to October are a useful cross-check.
