Namdo Dwaejichon
남도돼지촌 Namdo means the southern provinces (the Jeolla region), dwaeji is pig and chon is village — a 'southern pork village', and the posts describe it as a Jeolla-style pork grill house.

Namdo Dwaejichon is a Jeolla-style pork grill on Yongridan-gil, between Samgakji and Sinyongsan stations, taking up a whole two-storey building. You grill at the table yourself. The most-ordered items are the 470 g Hanmodum platter of belly, neck and skirt at 58,000 won (15 visits) and the 620 g Special, which adds pork skin, at 69,000 won (7). Eighteen visits added the zucchini stew (10,000 won), with the zucchini cut long like noodles, and 21 note that spicy marinated crab comes as a free side. Four posts mention deodoriser spray, sweets and floss left by the exit. We read 30 posts dated 21 July to 13 October 2026; 25 describe an actual visit. We did not count the restaurant's own ad post or three TV, magazine and news pieces as visits, and we dropped one post about the bakery next door.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- You grill your own meat. Thirteen posts say they did it themselves, and none says staff grilled for them. One writer advises against bringing a work dinner here, since the most junior person ends up grilling all night; another found the lack of table-side grilling a small letdown. Several posts say staff instead explained three ways to eat it: with salt, with perilla oil and salted shrimp, or wrapped in pickled mustard leaf with wasabi.
- Seven posts put it a 4–5 minute walk from exit 3 of Samgakji station; one gives the distance as 270 m, and another says exit 1 of Sinyongsan is also walkable.
- Waits vary. Two posts waited: one arrived around 7 pm on a Saturday and waited about 30 minutes, the other says there was a queue but it moved quickly. Three walked straight in: at 5:30 pm on a public holiday, at 6:30 pm on a Friday without booking, and early on a Sunday evening. One post only says the wait was not long. One post found that seating is capped at two hours when people are waiting. Five booked ahead through Naver or CatchTable, and one mentions a kiosk by the door for joining the waitlist.
- Eleven posts call the cuts thick, especially the neck, and ten mention juiciness. Four say there was no gamey smell. One describes the neck as crisp outside and moist inside.
2 more
- Four posts from July and August single out the air conditioning: a sign at the door promises full-power cooling, and one notes three units running on the upper floor.
- Seven posts went with friends, two with family and two as a couple on a date. Most titles pitch it for office dinners, but no post says it was one. One family came with a child and liked that the grill did not spit oil.

Parking
3 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Three posts say there is no parking of its own. Many repeat advice to use paid lots nearby, such as the temporary public lot at Samgakji. Of the three posts that came by car, one found that public lot full in the evening. Two say there is no parking subsidy.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

| Separate restrooms | 1 of 24 posts |
Both floors are in use; 19 posts talk about the upstairs room. Three say the ground floor is mostly tables for two, and several describe the first floor up as larger, with group tables for eight. Seven posts sat on, or describe, the street-level floor, so it is not a basement. Three were sent upstairs, either because downstairs was full or straight away. Posts say you reach the upper floor by stairs.
Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pram can get in. That means we don't know, not that it's impossible. Posts describe stairs to the upper floor and never mention a lift for guests; one mentions a dumbwaiter that sends food up.
Two posts found the toilets inside, at the back of the upper floor, and one says they are separate for men and women. Other posts repeat the same from the Naver listing, which we did not count. Nobody mentions an accessible toilet.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Every set of opening hours is copied from a listing, and they disagree. The most common version (7 posts) is Mon–Thu 16:00–22:00, Fri 16:00–22:30, Sat 12:00–22:30 and Sun 12:00–22:00. Three October posts say weekdays open at noon, one says daily 11:00–22:00, and an August post has Saturday opening at 16:00. Lined up by date, the versions don't settle into a clear change, so check before you go.
- Prices barely differ between posts: Hanmodum 58,000 won, Special 69,000, neck 24,000 for 200 g, belly 18,000 for 150 g, zucchini stew and fried rice 10,000 each, cold noodles 8,000. Only the corn cheese splits, at 5,000 won on an August menu photo and 4,000 in a September post. No one calls the place expensive; two posts call it good value, one saying two people ate their fill for under 100,000 won, another counting 68,000 won for the platter and stew as reasonable.
- Most posts list the phone number as 0507-1432-8668. The restaurant's own post and one other give 02-6339-8666. Several repeat that groups of six or more should book by phone.
- Many posts follow one template. Several from 8–13 October share the same office-dinner keywords, the same order (platter, water dropwort, zucchini stew, crab), the same three ways to eat the meat and the same hashtag set. Only one says it was sponsored, but they read like commissioned copy. We counted them, so bear that in mind when reading the numbers.
