A small cheesecake shop on Changdeokgung 1-gil, a short walk up from Anguk Station toward Bukchon. It is the Seoul branch of La Tarta de la Madre de Cris, a cheesecake brand from Granada: the classic slice is 8,800 won, with brownie, pistachio, Baileys and chocolate versions at 9,300-9,500 won, all eaten with a spoon rather than a fork. Coffee and wine by the glass are also sold. In June 2026 it ran a coffee-only soft opening; it opened properly in July. We read 11 posts dated 3 July to 17 September 2026, and all 11 describe a visit.

What sets it apart
- Most people take it away: eight of the eleven posts did. Each slice goes into its own box and you can take as many spoons as you need. One post at Saturday opening said slices were pre-boxed in a fridge by the window, and staff asked about travel time and said an hour was fine. Another, finding no seats, paid in the morning and collected the cake that evening.
- There is seating, but not much. Eight posts mention places to sit and six call the room small. Table counts given: four (two posts), three or four (one), five two-seaters (two). One writer said you sit nearly elbow to elbow; one found it full and took the cake away; one found no free seat at 11 on a Saturday. One weekday-lunch visitor found a single table free.
- Of seven posts that discussed price, four found it expensive — one called 18,100 won for two slices over the line. One said it was worth the money, and one wavered. One writer also found the slice small for a grown man.
- Queues vary. One post arrived around 9:50 on Saturday 25 July 2026, was first in line, and saw a long queue form by the 10:00 opening; another found the shop packed at 11 on a September Saturday. One weekday-lunch visit had no wait. One writer said the shop posts sold-out notices on Instagram after noon each day, and another found everything gone at 5:30 pm.

What we do not know
- Which flavours are on sale changes day to day. Two late-July 2026 posts found only the classic; four found three flavours. No post found all five.
- Posts split two to two on sweetness: two found it sweet (one of them about the pistachio), two said it was not.
- During the June 2026 soft opening, one post says the shop sold only coffee, 11:00-20:00, with cheesecake just as free tastes. Posts from the July opening on all describe slices sold from 10:00 to 18:30. One post also says the Naver Map name changed from La Tarta to Keuriseu Eommaui Chijeu Keikeu. The shop has not moved.
- Six posts give the same hours, 10:00-18:30 daily, closed the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, but all six copied them into an info block rather than checking. Several posts say cakes sell out early, so stock may run out well before closing.
