Blue Hour is a live jazz club on two basement floors off Samil-daero 15-gil in Gwancheol-dong, Jongno. Bands play Monday to Saturday, first set at 8 p.m. and second around 9:20; there's a 15,000-won music charge per person and everyone has to order a drink. Guests ordered bottle-plus-plate sets (wine from 79,000 to 90,000 won, four draught beers for 83,000, two cocktails for 69,000) with cheese plates, the house pizza or a handmade sausage. We read 30 posts from 17 June to 16 October 2026, 29 of them from actual visits. 27 of the 30 went up in the twelve days between 5 and 16 October 2026, and three said they were sponsored. Two posts from June and July described the place as newly opened.

Only one post actually drove: there's no lot of its own, so they used a nearby car park. The 'parking available' label and the parking subsidy (7,000 won off a night pass at Shinhan L Tower or Signature Tower) are copied from the listing; a June 2026 post gave the subsidy as 10,000 won.

You go down. 17 posts described taking stairs or a lift underground. The club spans two basement levels with two doors: some posts entered through a door halfway down the stairs straight into the hall, others went one floor lower, and a few came in and then climbed stairs up to the stage room. One post warned first-timers it can be confusing.
There is a lift. Five posts mentioned it; one said a dedicated lift takes you straight into the first basement floor, and another recommended it because the stairs go a long way down.
No one wrote about a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means nobody said, not that there's no issue. Five posts mention a lift, but others describe half-flights of stairs inside, so we don't know whether you can reach a table step-free.
The toilets are inside. Three posts described them, two saying there's one on each level. Two said they're split by gender and one said unisex; another post explained there are two toilets, the lower one gendered and the other shared, which likely accounts for the difference.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing — nobody wrote about it either way. Seats do fill before the music, though: one post said it was nearly full 20 minutes before the set, another that every seat was taken by 8; one couple arrived at 7:20 and were first in, another got seats at 7:40. One post advised arriving 30 minutes early for a front table.
- Views on volume differ. One post said the second set suddenly got loud enough to hurt and suggested sensitive ears sit at the back; another said, unlike other jazz bars, the sound level was right even at the front.
- All opening hours are copied from the listing. Eight posts gave weekdays 18:00–23:00, Saturday 17:00–23:30, Sunday 18:00–22:00. A June 2026 post said closed on Sundays, and one October post still did; others give Sunday until 23:00 or Saturday closing at 23:00. Several posts say live sets run Monday to Saturday only, so Sunday may have no band.
- The 27 posts from 5–16 October follow nearly the same template: 'Jonggak date spot', a plug for Insooni's 8 November show, an Instagram card. Only three say they were sponsored, but read this batch as likely promotional. We still counted them as visits because what was ordered, what it cost and which band played differ from post to post.
