Geumpo Bansang & Namsan Wangdonkkaseu

금포반상 & 남산왕돈까스 Bansang is a Korean set table of rice, soup and side dishes and wang-donkkaseu is an oversized pork cutlet; the two brands share one dining room, and one post ties the name Geumpo to Gimpo because the shop sells Gimpo local products.

A restaurant on the ground floor of Gimpo Airport's domestic terminal that merges two brands in one room: Geumpo Bansang (Korean set meals) and Namsan Wangdonkkaseu (old-style pork cutlets). The operator, Ourhome, says on its own blog that it runs the shop. You sit down, order from either menu on a table tablet, and staff bring the food. Copied menus put the classic cutlet at 14,000 won, stews at 13,000-13,500 won and set meals at 17,000-17,500 won. Nine posts ate the Jinttobaegi sundae hot pot (17,000 won), a TV-show dish that arrived in September 2026. We read 30 posts from 30 August to 21 October 2026: 18 ate here, 8 only listed or described it, and 4 were about other Namsan Wangdonkkaseu branches (Incheon Airport, Ewha Seoul Hospital) and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You order from a tablet at the table and staff bring the food. Nine posts said they ordered this way, and one said you pay on the way out. Several contrasted it with the food courts nearby where you fetch your own tray; one noted you just leave the dishes on the table.
  2. Seven posts said the food came quickly and none said it was slow. Six of those seven belong to the templated batch described below; the one outside it said the cutlet arrived soon after ordering. No post gave a time in minutes.
  3. Seven posts called the room spacious, often noting the tables are far enough apart to move around with luggage. Six of them are in the templated batch; outside it, one regular also called it roomy. No post said it was cramped.
  4. Six posts came with children and three of them mentioned high chairs, one saying there were plenty. Four posts mentioned the children's 'little pilot' cutlet set, two giving 11,000 won, but none recorded eating it.
4 more
  1. Six posts came with family, two as a couple, and one said it was easy to eat alone. Three drove. A recurring point is that grandparents and children can order Korean food and cutlets at the same table.
  2. Lunchtime is busy. One post queued on a weekday lunch before getting in. Two more described it as packed on a weekday lunch and on a weekend late afternoon but did not say they waited. No post gave a waiting time.
  3. Five posts said portions were big, one describing the cutlet as filling the table and another the generous offal in the hot pot. None said they were small.
  4. Two posts came by public transport: one by bus and subway, one using the free electric cart for children, pregnant and elderly travellers from Gimpo Airport station to the domestic terminal. The phrase about a subway-linked route appears in more posts, but it is template wording and we did not count it.

From the station

Getting inside

Many posts say the shop is on the terminal's ground floor, but only as directions; no one described stairs or lifts.

No post said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether they went in with a wheelchair or pushchair. One brought a pushchair and one took the cart from the station, but neither described the entrance. This means nobody wrote about it, not that access is missing.

No post said where the toilets are or whether they are separate for men and women.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 8 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Nine posts from 10-14 September 2026 follow one template: the same phrases about the arrivals-floor location and subway link, table service, table-tablet ordering, the TV-show hot pot with perilla pesto, and the same list of nearby dessert shops, in the same order. None discloses sponsorship, and one carries a 'paid my own way' hashtag. We counted them because they record a meal, but all nine hot-pot orders and most of the 'fast' and 'spacious' remarks come from this batch.
  • From copied menus, a meal runs from 10,000 won (fish-cake udon) to 19,000 won (seafood tofu stew with bulgogi). Four posts said it was good value and one said it was honestly not cheap; three of the four are in the templated batch. Two posts gave different prices for the udon-and-half-cutlet set: 15,500 and 16,000 won.
  • Ten posts that ate here all gave opening hours of 06:00-21:00, six adding last orders at 20:30, though most copied this from an info box. One post copying the airport directory (not a visit) listed the cutlet side alone as 08:00-20:00. No post mentioned a closing day.
  • Six posts gave the same phone number, 02-2064-7702. No one tried to book by phone; one copied info box simply says walk-ins are accepted.
  • The sundae hot pot was described as newly launched around September 2026, and one post called it a limited-time special. No post said how long it will stay on the menu.
