Usu is a Korean tasting-course restaurant on the second basement floor of the Lotte Castle President arcade, connected to exit 2 of Gongdeok Station. Every table is in a private room. Courses open with porridge and small bites and end with 1++ hanwoo sirloin you grill yourself on a one-person burner, eaten with pot rice and beef seaweed soup. Posts give 79,000 won for lunch course C and 129,000 won for dinner course B, per person. We read 21 posts from 3 June to 15 October 2026 and counted the 16 that ate here (11 dinners, 5 lunch C); the other five were about other businesses.

What sets it apart
- Fifteen of the 16 posts ate in a closed private room. One stressed it was fully enclosed rather than half-open; a couple who booked for two were shown to a four-person room. Five posts mention a coat hanger in the room and one an air conditioner in each room. Nine said it was quiet, and four that the place or the room was roomier than expected.
- Twelve posts said the subway is the easy way in: exit 2 connects to the arcade underground, so you never go outside. One post gave directions from the escalator past a shabu-shabu shop to a pilates studio, and also described the route by the arcade elevator. Four posts described going down to B2 and walking in.
- Nine posts booked ahead — one through Naver for 5:30 pm, another noting they walked straight in with no wait. One said the restaurant calls in advance if you list allergies; another, who noted an anniversary in the booking, got sparkling wine, a lettered card and a Polaroid.
- Five posts expected a tasting course to leave them hungry and said it did not; one whose husband eats a lot found the standard 90 g of beef enough. Two posts got refills of the rice, soup or side dishes.

- Nearly every post mentions free corkage, but mostly by repeating the restaurant's notice; two describe it first-hand — one couple brought two bottles of bokbunja wine, another saw other diners with their own wine. That brands the house sells can't be brought in, and that a glass change costs 5,000 won, are things one post was told.

Four posts wrote about parking from experience. One warned that the navigation app sends you to the officetel entrance and you must use the arcade entrance instead — a cake courier got lost; another described going around the building to the arcade lot. 'Three hours free, no limit on cars' appears in many posts but is copied from the restaurant's own listing, so we did not count it.

Posts say you reach B2 by escalator or the arcade elevator, but none says whether the restaurant entrance has a step or whether anyone came in with a wheelchair or stroller. That is not a no — nobody wrote about it.
Only one post mentions the toilet: it is the arcade's, just around the corner, not inside the restaurant. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing text.

What we do not know
- Three posts give 129,000 won for dinner B, two give 79,000 won for lunch C, and three say lunch starts at 39,000 won. Nobody says which course that is, or what lunch A/B or dinner C cost. Only two posts judged the price, and both said it was not expensive.
- Only one of the 16 posts discloses sponsorship, yet almost all follow the same sequence — the ingredient display box, each course in turn, then 'three hours' free parking', 'free corkage', 'good for family meetings' — and end with the same place link. One still carries a sponsored-post disclaimer about extra charges. Most look commissioned; none says the writer paid.
- Thirteen posts list hours of 11:00–22:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break, and eleven say it is open every day, but all of this is copied from the restaurant's listing. Nobody gives a last-order time.
- Posts from June and July 2026 describe a melon sorbet and melon cheese dessert; from August it is corn ice cream. It appears to change with the season, and we only know up to the latest post in October.
- The only post that mentions waiting says they booked and walked straight in. Nobody wrote about turning up without a booking.
- Eight posts went as a couple and one with a friend. Nearly all recommend it for family meetings, yet no post actually went with family or children; two saw high chairs.
- Two phone numbers appear, 010-7192-4111 and 0507-1471-4117. Most posts booked through Naver or CatchTable; one copied a note that same-day bookings go by phone.
