Suadang's Apgujeong branch is a gimbap shop on Seolleung-ro 815, ground floor, near Apgujeong Rodeo station. People eat the house Sua gimbap (with stir-fried fried tofu) and soupy tteokbokki in, then carry out fried-tofu rice-paper rolls, tofu-and-kimchi yubu pockets, sandwiches and desserts; 14 of the 25 visit posts took food away. Posts from July 2026 on list the tteokbokki at 12,900 won, up from 9,900 in April. We read 30 posts from March 4 to October 19, 2026; 3 were about the Seongbuk branch and set aside, leaving 25 written by people who went.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Seating is limited. Eight posts said the room is small and none called it roomy. Those who counted described two four-tops plus about four bar seats, five bar seats plus three two-tops, or roughly 11 seats in all. Twelve posts confirmed you can sit and eat, mostly pointing to bar or single seats for solo diners; ten called it clean.
- This is a heavy takeout and delivery shop. Fourteen of the 25 visit posts carried food home, and one noted delivery riders coming in nonstop while they ate. One post warned that the tofu-and-kimchi yubu pockets get watery and are best eaten within a day.
- Three posts said rolls are made after you order — one timed it at five to seven minutes, another said anything not sold out on the kiosk comes straight from the kitchen. One post felt the opposite, that its gimbap had been rolled earlier and just sliced. Six posts ordered at a kiosk.
- Five posts clearly called something spicy, four of them about the tteokbokki — one compared it to Shin Ramyun, another said they broke a sweat. The fifth found the spicy squid in the chichibul gimbap hotter than expected. Three posts said portions were large; one said the tteokbokki is more than one serving.
3 more
- Three posts walked it from Apgujeong Rodeo station exit 5 and put it at about three minutes, roughly 210 meters.
- Both posts that noticed how little rice goes into the gimbap liked it that way.
- One post that went around 3 p.m. saw a Japanese couple and a Chinese diner eating alone. Other posts' remarks about foreign customers were hearsay and not counted.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

| Separate restrooms | 1 of 23 posts |
No post described the floor from experience; only the address says ground floor.
No post mentioned a step at the door or getting in with a stroller or wheelchair — that means nobody wrote about it, not that it's step-free or not.
Only one post covered the toilets: they're not in the shop but upstairs in the building — women's on the 2nd floor, men's on the 3rd — behind a door code. No other post mentioned them.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices went up. An April 2026 post listed tteokbokki at 9,900 won, tuna gimbap 7,500, tofu-kimchi yubu 18,900 and salmon kkakdugi 14,900; posts from July on give 12,900, 7,900, 19,900 and 15,900. A September post copied the older prices as the 'current' menu; we did not count it. Opinions on price split: three posts found it expensive (two rolls and one tteokbokki came to over 30,000 won), two thought it fair for the quality, and one didn't settle.
- Opening hours vary between posts, and every one was copied from a listing rather than observed. Posts from May and from late September to October say 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily; five posts from July 23 to September 6 say 8 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday and 8 a.m.–7:50 p.m. Thursday to Saturday; three from August and September 28 say 8 a.m.–9 p.m. The periods overlap, so we can't date a change — check before going.
- No post reported waiting. One warned that at lunchtime there may be no seats, so you might end up taking food away; posts that went mid-afternoon or avoided lunch found it nearly empty.
- No post went with family or children. Four went alone, two with a friend, and one with a group of coworkers.
- Several posts list the phone number as 02-514-0507. None said whether you can reserve by phone; one mentioned a 1,000-won coupon for ordering through Naver.
- Many posts follow a shared template: seven carry the identical hashtag string ending in 'Gangnam gimbap group orders', and two posted on August 5, 2026 use nearly the same sentences in the same order. One visit post disclosed sponsorship, six said they paid themselves, and 18 said nothing. Menu descriptions repeated word for word across posts are the shop's own copy, and we didn't rely on them.
