꽃게나라 Kkotge is the Korean name for the swimming crab (literally 'flower crab') and nara means land or country — 'Crab Land'; the house serves soy-marinated female crabs.

A soy-marinated crab house on the second floor of the Myeongdong Art Nouveau Centum building, between Euljiro 1-ga station and Myeongdong. You pick female crabs in M or XL and eat them as a one-person tray or a two- or three-person set, which comes with soft-tofu stew and roe rice. The M two-person set was 65,000 won in posts up to 17 September 2026 and 69,000 won from 19 September. We read 18 posts dated 28 July to 15 October 2026, all from people who ate there; three disclosed sponsorship and two carried a review-campaign banner.

- The most repeated point is that the soy brine is not salty: eleven posts said so and none said the opposite. One wrote that savouriness comes before saltiness; another that pouring on more brine just makes it tastier, not saltier.

It is up, not down: fourteen posts placed it on the building's second floor, mostly reached by the escalator just inside the entrance, which lands right at the door. Two posts said there is also a lift.
Nobody mentioned steps at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair; that means we don't know, not that it is impossible. Two posts said a lift runs alongside the escalator.
No one said where the restroom is or whether it is inside the restaurant; 'separate men's and women's restrooms' appears only in copied listing blocks.

What we do not know
- Prices rose in mid-September 2026. Up to 17 September the M two-person set was 65,000 won and the three-person set 98,000; from 19 September the two-person set was 69,000, and a 13 October post paid 108,000 for three. The XL single tray was 48,000 on 18 September and 49,000 on 10 October. Three posts said it was not expensive and none said it was, but five of the 18 were sponsored or campaign posts. A 5% cash discount was only reported as hearsay, so we did not count it.
- Sixteen posts gave opening hours, all copied from listing blocks: fifteen say daily 10:00 to 02:00 with last order at 01:30, one says last order at 01:00. A 28 July 2026 post listed 10:00 to midnight and, in the same block, both 'closed Mondays' and 'open every day'; we treat that as an older schedule and did not count it.
- Many posts share one template: fourteen carry the same three hashtags and follow nearly the same sequence of free steamed egg, seaweed wraps and rice in the crab shell. Beyond the three sponsored and two campaign posts, we cannot tell how the rest came to be written.
- We know little about waiting: one post said there was no queue, and two noted a waiting bench by the entrance, but nobody reported how long a wait runs at busy times.
- Seven posts said who they came with: three with a partner, two with family, two with a friend. None came alone.
- Many posts gave the same phone number, 0507-1422-9227. Reservations appear only in copied listing blocks and one suggestion to book large groups by phone; no post said it actually booked.
