A snack-cart style drinking spot at 216 Donggyo-ro in Mapo, near exit 3 of Hongik University Station. You order sub-10,000-won dishes such as instant udon (6,000 won), pork cutlet (8,000 won) and kimchi pancake (6,000 won) at a kiosk, and fetch your own drinks, cutlery and plates. There are two floors plus tables out front, and it stays open until 5 a.m. One post says it opened in summer 2024. We read 30 posts from Nov 2024 to Oct 2026; 26 describe an actual visit. Three were about other restaurants and only linked here, and one weekly diary named the place without describing a visit.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- Only the food is brought to you; everything else is self-service. Fourteen posts ordered at the kiosk. Several describe paying first and then taking drinks from the fridge, along with your own cutlery, plates and water. Four posts note the kiosk lists more dishes than the menu on the wall. A Nov 2024 post describes sitting with a numbered receipt until the owner calls the number out and brings the food.
- Four posts mention a one-dish-per-person rule, one saying it is posted in the shop. A group of three ordered egg toast, cheese cutlet and udon plus drinks for 36,000 won in total.
- Fourteen posts mention outdoor tables out front. One in Sep 2026 counted three of them. Posts describe the outside seats as the most popular, and one group went upstairs because there was no room outside. A Jan 2026 post ate indoors because many people were smoking in front of the shop. A Nov 2024 post noticed a sign showing the shop has an outdoor-dining permit.
- Seventeen posts call it cheap; none call it expensive. Most dishes are under 10,000 won, the priciest mentioned being pork-tofu-kimchi at 12,000 and fish cake soup at 10,000. Two people paid 20,000 won for spicy udon, fish cake soup and dumplings; one solo diner spent 16,000 won on udon, kimchi pancake and soju. Most posts put soju at 4,000 won; one Feb 2026 post says 5,000.

Ten posts say there is seating upstairs as well, and six mention the ground floor, so the shop is not in a basement. One group found the second floor empty and had it to themselves; a Mar 2026 post was told the upstairs does not open early in the evening; another was offered upstairs but took a ground-floor table on the staff's advice that it had more atmosphere.
Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. Nor did anyone mention stairs or a lift to the second floor.
Four posts say the toilet is inside the shop, and three of them found it clean, one admitting they had expected nothing from a snack-cart style place. One post describes it as shared, i.e. not separated by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on portions differ: five posts found them generous, one said they are not large and suit sharing several dishes.
- One Mar 2026 post found the acorn jelly salad so salty that even the remade plate was too salty; the six other posts that ordered it liked the seasoning.
- No post describes queuing. Posts do mention the place being nearly full after 2 a.m., seats being hard to get at peak times, and moving upstairs when the outside tables were taken. That does not mean there is never a wait, only that nobody wrote about one.
- Opening hours have changed, and all of them come from copied info blocks. A Nov 2024 post lists 11:00 to 05:00; ten posts from Oct 2025 to Aug 2026 give a 17:30 opening; four from Sep 2026 give 17:00. All agree on closing at 5 a.m. Fourteen posts say it is closed every other Monday; one says there is no regular day off. One Aug 2026 post lists 10:00 to 22:00 instead. A regular advises checking before going on a Monday.
- Many posts list the phone number 070-7726-4160, but nobody wrote about trying to book. One copied info block says reservations are not taken.
- Next door at 218 Donggyo-ro is Yunsune Chulchulhalttae 2. Posts from Oct 2025 and Sep 2026 say it closed for lack of staff, and others found it shut on visits in Nov 2025 and Sep 2026. One post says its menu differs, so this page covers only the original at 216.
