Uahage
우아하게 Uahage means 'elegantly'; the sign spells it with the characters 牛雅, 'cow' and 'elegant', fitting a house that grills all-beef patties.

A charcoal-grilled beef patty house at Donggyo-ro 185, ground floor, a short walk from Hongik University Station exit 1. A U-shaped and round bar wraps a central charcoal grill, with more bar seats along the windows, so you eat watching the chef cook. The two signatures are the same all-beef patty served Korean-style with side dishes or Western-style with tomato sauce, KRW 14,900 for two pieces. Lunch brings specials like a patty rice bowl and grilled pork jowl; evenings lean izakaya, with yakitori and drinks. We read 18 posts dated April 12 to October 24, 2026, and counted the 15 that describe a visit (one was not about this place; two were a list and a generic write-up).

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Fourteen of the 15 visit posts describe watching the food cook on the central grill right in front of them. Several add that even a two-piece order arrives one patty at a time, the second grilled as you finish the first.
- Six posts say rice and soup are refilled free. One child ate three bowls of rice; a couple each had a second bowl.
- Five posts say they walked straight in (Saturday 11:50, a weekday 8 pm, a booked weekday lunch). Five also say you can book, via Naver or the CatchTable kiosk out front; one says weekday evenings are nearly full and recommends booking. No post reports waiting.
- Two posts say the room is small, and one quotes the menu's note that, for lack of space, each guest must order a dish. One mentions a basket under the stool for bags.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
5 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
Floor: the address says ground floor, but no post describes the floor or any steps on the way in.
No one mentions an entrance step or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller; that means we don't know, not that it's step-free. One post notes the bar stools are high.
No post says where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Price: posts from June and October 2026 put the two-piece Korean set at KRW 14,900; one August post wrote 15,900, and we cannot tell whether that was a price change or a typo. No post totals a full meal with sides or drinks. Three posts call it good value.
- Nearly every post describes bar seating around the grill and along the windows, but one sat at a large table in the middle. One notes the stools are high and blankets are provided. We don't know how many face-to-face tables there are.
- Hours as copied into posts vary a little. Weekdays 11:30-22:00 with a 15:00-16:30 break are consistent. Three April 2026 posts have Sunday opening at 10:00; two from July and October say 11:30. A Wednesday closure appears in May and October posts, while one April post lists Monday to Saturday; that same post alone has Friday and Saturday closing at 22:00 rather than midnight. Check before going.
- The number 02-336-7883 appears identically in several posts' info blocks, but no one booked by phone; everyone who booked used Naver or CatchTable.
- One October 2026 post was a sponsored tasting. We set aside a top-10 list entry and a generic write-up that repeats a TV show's name, gives no prices or dishes, and calls the tables widely spaced, unlike every other post. '100% beef' and 'kneaded by hand over 100 times' are the restaurant's own claims, which we report but do not count.
