Sushiroman X Yeoneoroman
스시로만X연어로만 Sushiroman and Yeoneoroman read as 'sushi only' and 'salmon only' (-roman means 'with nothing but'); the room joins a conveyor-sushi brand with the salmon specialist Yeoneoroman S that used to run this space.

A conveyor-belt sushi bar on the second floor of 20 Yanghwa-ro 23-gil, Mapo-gu, a minute or so from Hongik University Station exit 3 at the mouth of the Yeontral Park strip. Every plate on the rail is a flat 1,900 won; anything not on the rail is ordered from the tablet at your seat, and three posts put order-only items such as the king salmon nigiri and futomaki at 3,800 won. The space was the salmon specialist Yeoneoroman S before the Sushiroman conveyor brand moved in alongside it, so salmon dominates, with beef tartare nigiri, udon and cream pasta at the same price. We read 21 posts dated 20 February to 12 October 2026; 18 describe an actual meal, one turned out to be about another restaurant, and two only repeated listing details.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Every seat has a tablet. Twelve posts ordered off-rail sushi, udon or pasta through it; one said tablet orders are made fresh and brought over, another that even rail items you order are picked out and delivered by staff.
- Most seats are a single row of counter stools along the windows, with four-person tables tucked inside. Seven posts said there are both counter seats and tables; one counted two four-person tables in the corner, another described the counter split into pairs by glass partitions. Nobody called it roomy, and six posts called it small or cramped. Four mentioned the window seats: one enjoyed the view over Yeonnam-dong, while a May 2026 diner sat in direct sun with no curtain and found it too hot the whole meal.
- Waits vary. Three posts waited (30 minutes, 15 minutes on a weekday evening, 'a short while'), three walked straight in (6 pm on a Sunday, a full room with no queue, around 6 pm), and two arrived just as a queue was forming. Five posts mention an indoor waiting area, so you are not left standing in the street. How you join the queue has been described differently: a tablet at the entrance in May 2026, CatchTable in August, and in October no ticket or name list at all, with staff simply asking who was next.
- Ten posts said the prices were easy on the wallet. Accounts include two people eating their fill for under 60,000 won (March 2026), an adult and a primary-school son clearing 17 plates for under 40,000 won (February), and a couple at roughly 50 plates for about 100,000 won (August). Many posts mention the promotion: 15 plates earns an Americano at the café across the street, 30 plates a pu-erh milk tea upstairs.

- Two posts came with children: a primary-school son ate ten plates and found plenty to like, such as tamago and tteokgalbi nigiri, and a youngest child ate three bowls of mini udon. Two posts said the rice portions are small, and others noted wasabi is left out for you to add yourself.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 8 of 15 posts |

| In a basement | yes 0 · no 8 (of 15 posts read) |
The restaurant is on the second floor; eight posts said the sign is easy to spot from the street.
No one mentioned a step at the door, a lift, or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair. One post simply said you see the place as you climb the stairs to the second floor; that does not mean there is no lift, only that nobody wrote about one.
No post said whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 17 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The space used to be the salmon restaurant Yeoneoroman S. Posts from February and March 2026 said conveyor sushi had been added recently, and an August visitor wrote that the salmon place they knew had turned into Sushiroman. Every post we read dates from after the change, so we did not count anything about the earlier restaurant. Some posts say Yeoneoroman's à la carte salmon dishes can still be ordered, but a March 2026 diner was told they were unavailable on a busy evening.
- Opening hours have been reported differently over time. Four posts from February to May 2026 said 11 am opening and closed every Sunday (three gave a 4–5 pm break, two a 9:30 pm last order). A June post had 11:30 opening, a 3–5 pm break and Sunday closing. Eight posts from August to October gave daily 11:30 am–10 pm, a 3–5 pm break and last orders at 9:20 pm, and one September diner ate there at 6 pm on a Sunday. Most of these were copied from listing blocks; an October post warned it occasionally closes on Sundays. One July post alone said daily 11 am–10 pm.
- Many posts copied the phone number, 02-6949-0153, but nobody said they booked by phone, and no one said whether reservations are taken.
- The cream pasta splits opinion one to one: slightly salty enough to need water (March 2026) versus mild and underseasoned (September).
- Speed of service: one post each way. In February 2026 tablet orders arrived faster than expected; in April a diner's order never came, other tables were asking after theirs too, and she cancelled and left.
- Prices are not always displayed consistently. One post gave the flat price as 1,990 won (all others say 1,900); another saw futomaki on the rail that seemed to cost about 2,900 won on the table menu; another put special cuts at 2,900–4,900 won. One diner found the Naver Map menu clearly different from the in-store kiosk, and in May 2026 a diner who stacked 30 plates was rung up for 29 because a premium plate was counted separately, and missed the milk tea.
- Corkage-free drinks, a rooftop and 'five-star hotel service' come from the restaurant's own copied blurb. No one wrote about bringing a bottle or sitting on a rooftop.
