LOTTERIA
롯데리아 홍대점 Lotteria Hongdae-jeom Hongdae-jeom simply means the Hongdae branch — this is the Lotteria burger chain's store by Hongik University Station.
Compiled from 10 blog posts read in fullSources →
A Lotteria burger outlet on the ground floor of the L7 Hongdae hotel building, right by Exit 1 of Hongik University Station. You order at a kiosk and collect your food from a locker-style pickup box, and many visitors came mainly to try that system. Only two posts, both from July 2026, give prices: 5,100 won for a plain shrimp burger, 7,900 won for the Ria Thick Shrimp alone or 9,900 won as a set. We read 28 posts from May 2025 to October 2026: 15 ate here, 1 only described the store, and 12 were set aside as other Lotteria branches or branches we could not identify.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Ordering is by kiosk; seven posts said so. Several described the same steps: scan the barcode at the bottom of your receipt, find the pickup box showing your number, and knock on it to open it. You pour your own drink and pick up your own straws and napkins. It is not entirely unstaffed, though. One post said a staff member came straight away when they pressed the help bell, another said you can call staff from the kiosk, and a third noticed people cooking out back. One post warned that cash is not accepted.
- Three posts called it clean. One noted the tables were clean even though the store is unstaffed, and another said it is cleaned regularly.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Two posts said the ground floor holds the kiosks, the pickup boxes and a few seats, with more room half a floor up. One of them recommended sitting upstairs because the pickup numbers are shown there too. Two posts described tiered one- and two-person seats facing a big window onto the main road, and one compared them to a lecture hall. Two posts said the entrance is at street level.
Nobody mentioned whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pram can get in. Several posts described going through an automatic door and down a long corridor, and one said the entrance was a small door at the far end that was hard to find. We also don't know whether the upper seating can be reached without stairs.
One post said the toilet is outside the store but inside the building; another said you need the code printed on your receipt to get in. Nobody said whether there are separate men's and women's toilets or an accessible one.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 11 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only one post mentioned waiting: no queue at a weekday lunch, and an app order ready within 10 minutes. Another post said weekends are busy, so check for a free seat before ordering, and found 3 to 4 pm busier than noon to 1 pm. One more said they ended up at a three-person table on a weekend because nothing else was free.
- Four posts said who they came with: two with friends, one alone, and one that only said there were two of them. One post found it easy to eat alone because many other customers were by themselves.
- Opinion on price splits one to one. One post found the Ria Thick Shrimp a bit expensive; the other called it good value, with the set still under 10,000 won. These are the only two posts that give prices. Another post noted a sign saying that, as a special-format store, some items may be missing and some coupons cannot be used.
- Five posts gave the same opening hours, 5 am to 4 am the next day, and two gave a last order of 3:30 am. One described it as open 24 hours with a break from 4 to 5 am. Most of these were copied from the store's listing. No post mentioned a closing day.
- Two posts copied down the phone number, 02-3143-1843. Nobody said whether the store normally takes bookings. One post described a December 2025 Christmas pre-order event when staff met customers at the door and two tables were laid out as reserved seats.
- Three of the 15 posts follow the same format: a 'paid it myself' headline followed by emoji-labelled address, hours and phone fields. One reads like search-engine copy, with headings such as 'pros and features' and 'tips and cautions'. We counted them because they say what was eaten, but we treated their info fields as copied and did not rely on them.
