OISHIKU

오이시쿠 Oishiku Oishiku is Japanese for 'deliciously' (from oishii, tasty); one post glosses the name simply as 'delicious'.

Compiled from 11 blog posts read in fullSources →

An izakaya on the second floor of a building on Yanghwa-ro 21-gil, by Exit 3 of Hongik University Station. The sign reads 'オイシク OISHIKU', and the signature dish is sukiyaki in a soy broth. We read 30 posts dated December 2024 to October 2026. Eleven of them record an actual visit. Three were about other businesses, and thirteen were templated posts published over five days in early July 2026. Four diners had the sukiyaki; an April 2025 post put it at 100 won short of 30,000. Posts from 2026 mention a top-blade chop steak (29,400 won) and a half salmon futomaki (14,500 won). The window bar seats look out over the Gyeongui Line Forest Park, and the inner tables are hung with anime posters and paper lanterns.

Rows without a count: 2 of 3 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. There are both bar seats and tables; three visit posts describe both. In April 2025 the room was full, so a party of four had to wait while the writer's pair took a free bar seat at once. An October 2026 post liked the window bar for its view of a tree-lined walking path through the glass.
  2. Writing a review gets you a free dish. Three posts received one: corn cheese twice, ice cream once. The writer who got corn cheese twice never finished it and planned to pick the salad next time.
  3. Two posts (December 2024, April 2025) say a bowl of spicy shrimp crackers comes free. Two posts also say you order from a tablet at each table.
  4. Three posts say it is close to the station: one minute from Exit 3, right in front of Hongik University Station. One writer had walked past it for years without noticing, perhaps because it is upstairs.

The most ordered dish is Oishiku sukiyaki (오이시쿠 스키야키) — 4 of 11 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Second floor2 of 11 posts

Two posts say it is on the second floor, but none say whether you climb stairs, whether there is a lift, or whether there is a step at the door. We do not know if a wheelchair or stroller can get in.

One post mentions anime stickers inside the toilet, but nobody says whether it is inside the bar or out in the building. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in scraped listing data.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 27 posts we gathered, 16 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-07-065 posts in one day
2026-07-042 posts in one day
2026-07-033 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Only one post, from April 2025, mentions waiting: a party of four was put on the waitlist when the room was full. No one gave a wait time, and we do not know how other nights go.
  • Of the eleven visits, four were with friends or former colleagues, two with a partner and one with family. No one mentions going with children.
  • All the opening hours we have are copied. Posts from December 2024 and March 2025 agree: Monday and Tuesday 1 pm to 3 am, Wednesday to Sunday 11 am to 5 am. An April 2025 post instead gives a 3 am close on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. No post since May 2025 lists hours, so we do not know the current schedule.
  • Prices vary. Sukiyaki is 29,900 won in an April 2025 visit and in data scraped in February 2026, but 35,000 won in data scraped in March 2025. The April 2025 diner first found it a bit pricey but decided it was fair for Seoul once they saw the ingredients. Two posts note that extra broth costs extra. No one says what a meal cost per person.
  • The only phone number is 0507-1369-4798, copied in one April 2025 post. No one says they booked ahead, so we do not know whether reservations are taken.
  • Thirteen posts from 2 to 6 July 2026 share the same headings and phrasing, and none names a dish, a price or a companion. Some details, like a 'modest sign', clash with every other account. We did not count them, and we ignore what they say about parking, seating or waiting.
