A cutlet and omelette-rice shop on the ground floor at Donggyo-ro 27-gil 21, near Hongik Univ. station. Cutlets come in tenderloin, fish, cheese or mixed, in medium or large; omelette rice comes demi, curry, beef or cream. One post gave prices: in April 2026 a medium tenderloin or fish cutlet was 10,500 won. You pour cutlet sauce into a split dish of mustard and gochujang. We read 10 posts from January 2025 to October 2026; 8 describe a visit here, and 2 were about other shops nearby and were set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four posts said the portions are big. Two said even the medium is a lot; one had ordered the large before and dropped to medium because it was too much.
  2. Four posts called the coating crisp. One poured all the sauce on at the start and liked how it softened as they ate.
  3. Four posts were written by returning customers: one who usually orders the large mixed plate, a nearby office that always used to get the house cutlet, and one who found the place still where it was years ago.
  4. Space is tight. Two posts said so: tables are packed close, which is uncomfortable at weekday lunch, and the room is small at about 28 seats. That post said seating is mostly four- and six-tops, so a solo diner may share a table; another counted many four-person tables.

  1. Two posts noted walls full of autographs, and two mentioned a how-to-eat-your-cutlet guide written on the wall.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 1 (of 8 posts read)

One post noted from its visit that the shop is on the ground floor. None mentioned an upstairs or basement room.

We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits; no post said.

We don't know where the toilet is or whether it is split by gender; no post mentioned it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know

  • One post gave a walking time, about four minutes from Hongik Univ. station. Another listed exit 2, about five minutes, in a copied info box; a third post's copied box wrongly names Sadang station, so we set those aside.
  • No post described standing in line. Two said it gets busy at lunch; one who went late in the evening had the room to themselves. We don't know how long a lunchtime wait runs.
  • Who people came with doesn't add up to anything: one went as a pair, one after a work meeting, but no two posts point to solo, friends or family.
  • Three posts list hours as 11:30-21:00 on weekdays and 12:30-20:00 on weekends; one has weekends from 12:00. All copied from info lines. Two posts say it closes one Friday-to-Sunday stretch a month, and one says omelette rice isn't served on holidays.
  • Only one post gave a price (April 2026, 10,500 won for a medium), so we don't know other dishes' prices or today's. The 2,000-won upcharge for large is hearsay in that post.
  • Three posts list the phone as 02-326-2016; none said whether it takes reservations. A separate shop with the same name, the Donggyo branch at Donggyo-ro 25-gil 15, is nearby, and one post warns to check you're at the right one.
