An all-you-can-eat beef grill in a basement at 131 Eoulmadang-ro, near exit 8 of Hongik Univ. Station. You grill galbi-sal, sirloin and flat-iron over charcoal; the first plate comes to your table, and after that you fetch meat that staff slice to order at the back. Greens, sauces and wasabi are at a self-serve bar, and rice is unlimited. In 2026 posts the beef-only set is 29,800 won and the set with beef tartare and shrimp (each refillable once) is 32,800 won; two posts list doenjang stew and naengmyeon at 2,000 won. A March 2025 post had the beef set at 27,800 won. We read 19 posts from March 2025 to October 2026; 10 of them record an actual meal.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The time limit is two hours. Two posts say so, and one adds that nearby all-you-can-eat places usually allow about 90 minutes. One post says you can take only two plates of meat at a time.
  2. Three posts say it's close to exit 8 of Hongik Univ. Station (one says a three-minute walk). A ranking post that says exit 9 was copying the listing, so we didn't count it.
  3. One July 2025 post described the room as half Korean, half tourists. Another post's line that many foreigners come reads as hearsay, so we didn't count it.

  • Reachable by transit 3 of 9 posts
  • Time limit on the table 2 of 9 posts

These are raw counts, not percentages. Someone who did not mention something is not someone who disagreed.

The most ordered dish is sogogi doenjang-jjigae (소고기 된장찌개) — 6 of 9 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Three posts say it's close to exit 8 of Hongik Univ. Station (one says a three-minute walk). A ranking post that says exit 9 was copying the listing, so we didn't count it.

Getting inside

In a basement5 of 9 posts

It's downstairs. Five posts say the restaurant is in the basement; one notes the big sign above made them think it was upstairs at first, and another says that despite being underground the ventilation was decent.

Five posts say you go down to the basement, but none says whether it's stairs or a lift, or whether there's a step at the door. We don't know if a wheelchair or stroller can get in — not that it can't, just that nobody wrote about it.

No post says whether the toilet is inside the restaurant or separated by gender. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 16 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Waits vary. Of three posts that mention it, two walked straight in (an early weekend evening, around 1 p.m.); one family visit on a Sunday in February 2025 had to queue but got in quickly. One writer saw a long line outside that turned out to be for the soup place next door.
  • Posts split on service. Two found the staff friendly — one says the owner pointed out the rice station unasked — while one felt the once-only tartare refill wasn't explained and called the service a letdown. A March 2025 post said the owner seemed to be running the place almost alone.
  • Prices have gone up. In March 2025 the beef-only set was 27,800 won with a 3,000-won upgrade for shrimp and tartare; posts from March 2026 on say 29,800 and 32,800 won. One March 2026 post had doenjang stew at 4,000 won, while two posts from June and August say 2,000 won. Three posts call it cheap. Check current prices on site.
  • The opening hours seem to have changed: March and September 2025 posts say 1 p.m.–11 p.m., while March, April and August 2026 posts say noon–1 a.m. (two of those copy the listing, one is the writer's own note). No visitor mentioned a closing day.
  • One post left the beef tartare unfinished because of a slight gamey smell, though the same writer found the grilled beef clean-tasting.
  • Four of the ten visits say who they came with: two with friends, one as a couple, one with family. One post mentions a children's discount, but no one recorded going with kids.
  • The phone number 0507-1338-3994 appears in three posts that copy the listing. Only one promotional post, not a visit, says you can reserve by phone; nobody recorded actually booking.
  • Two non-visit posts (August 2025, March 2026) are template-style write-ups — chilled-beef-only claims, group-dining pitches, walking distance from exit 8 — so we didn't use them. Three ranking or list posts were also copied material and weren't counted.
