An izakaya in a Donggyo-dong lane right by Hongik Univ. Station exit 1 (31 World Cup buk-ro 2-gil, ground floor). People order aged sashimi by head count (₩25,000 for one) and add a ₩28,000 hot pot such as motsunabe or sukiyaki, or a futomaki or mackerel bar sushi, alongside drinks. It ran by Dangsan Station from 2017 and moved here sometime between spring and autumn 2026. We read 30 posts from 22 January 2025 to 25 October 2026 and set aside 4 that were about other places. 21 describe a meal at the Hongdae address and 4 date from the Dangsan years; unless stated, the counts below are Hongdae posts only.

What sets it apart
- Twelve posts say pickled radish arrives free as soon as you order — dressed with bonito flakes or ground sesame, and made in house according to one. One post also got cold barley tea.
- Nine posts describe a counter alongside two- and four-person tables. Two people went alone and sat at the counter, one facing the open kitchen; the single-person sashimi (₩25,000) is why they call it easy to drink solo. Several mention a tucked-away corner table at the back, but none makes clear whether it is a separate room.
- Eleven posts call the portions large — one pair left food after ordering two dishes, another was startled by the size of the sukiyaki. One post found the grilled scallops small for the price.

No post describes the floor from experience. The address says ground floor and two posts repeat it, but we cannot tell that from copying the address, so we do not count it. One post says you walk a little way in past the entrance.
Nobody says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in — we do not know, which is not the same as no. Copied info blocks in five posts list the shop as no-kids.
Eight posts say from their own visit that the restroom is inside the shop, and seven of them that it is split by sex. One mentions a bidet, another a second inner lock. Several call the restroom clean.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts up to February 2026 describe the old shop by Dangsan Station; posts from September on describe the current Hongdae address. One old post said reservations were a must because there were few tables — that was the old space and we do not count it for the new one. Three posts say they had been regulars since Dangsan, and one remembers the soy-crab sashimi as new since the move.
- No post describes waiting. The three that say they walked straight in went around 5 p.m., right after weekend opening, and around 8 p.m. on a Sunday; we do not know what peak hours are like. The 2½-hour limit when there is a queue is copied from the menu.
- Fifteen posts give the same hours — Mon–Sat 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., Sunday 4 p.m. to midnight — all copied from listings. Nobody mentions a closing day or last order.
- All prices come from posts in Sept–Oct 2026. One couple paid ₩59,000 for single sashimi, motsunabe and soju; one solo diner paid ₩64,000 for sashimi, grilled roe and two highballs. Four posts call the prices fair; one found a dish small for its price. Nobody recorded Dangsan-era prices.
- The phone number (0507-1355-3581) and booking via Naver or Catchtable, up to four people, are copied in several posts; none says they actually booked.
- Many Sept–Oct 2026 posts repeat the same lines — ten years at Dangsan since 2017, 84 m from exit 1, cooked and sold the same day — plus the review-event cheese tofu, and six went up on 12–13 October alone. Only three disclose sponsorship. We did not rely on the shop's own claims such as same-day prep or house-made stock.
