A Japanese robatayaki bar in an alley near exit 8 of Hongik University Station (Yanghwa-ro 18an-gil 17, ground floor). You order scallops, adductors, abalone, snow crab or beef rib by the plate and grill them yourself on a small burner at each table. The grill best set no. 1 was 38,900 won in December 2025; in June 2026, 100 g of beef rib was 9,800 won and a single scallop adductor 3,800 won. Many posts came here as a second stop after dinner. Posts note it is gas rather than charcoal, one recounting a staff tip to flip the bread quickly because it burns. Nobody described the floor from experience; the address simply says ground floor. Three posts mentioned a seafood tank at the entrance and more seating further inside.
No post said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means we don't know, not that access is impossible.
One post said from experience that the toilet is inside the bar, and another found it clean. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing options.

What we do not know
- Posts split on price: four found it easy on the wallet, two expensive, and two said single plates are cheap but the bill adds up. Some prices rose between a menu copied in August 2025 and posts from November–December 2025: squid from 12,800 to 16,800 won, tekkamaki from 13,700 to 15,700, half snow crab from 38,700 to 39,700.
- Five posts gave the same hours: Mon–Thu 16:00–24:00, Fri–Sat 16:00–02:00, Sun 16:00–23:00. One listed Wednesday as closing at 23:00, and another had weekdays and Saturday opening at 17:00. The shop description copied in August 2025 showed Saturday opening at noon, a 14:00–16:00 break and Sundays off; posts from October 2025 on show Sunday opening. Most of these were copied from the listing, so check before going.
- Only two posts mentioned waiting. In November 2025 one booked ahead and found the place empty; in June 2026 another waited about five minutes for a table. Others found early weekday evenings quiet. Nobody wrote about weekend nights.
- The phone number 0507-1355-5096 appears in two posts' copied info blocks. Two posts booked ahead, and copied listings mention Naver reservations.
- One post guessed from Naver reviews that the shop used to be Donggyo Haemul. We don't know when it changed or whether the owner is the same.
