Gongmihak Mapo Hongdae is a café-bakery taking up the whole third floor of the Kakao Friends Hongdae flagship building, right outside Exit 8 of Hongik Univ. Station. Its signature is 'Mapo-ui Mihak' (8,900 won), a mugwort latte topped with a skewer of three rice-cake balls; 19 of the 26 visit posts ordered it. Americano was listed at 5,500 won and the Chunsik sweet-potato bun set at 11,900 won, and you order at a kiosk or a tablet at your table. We read 30 posts dated 24 October 2025 to 18 October 2026; 26 describe an actual visit, two were about other places and set aside, and two only introduce the café.

- Writers treat it as the place in crowded Hongdae where you can find a seat: 18 posts called it spacious. The whole third floor is café, with gravel, stepping stones and a white pine set in water, and one writer found plenty of free seats at about 5 pm on a Saturday.
- There is a separate group room: seven posts mentioned a room or meeting-room space, and one said it has to be booked. Four posts mentioned floor seating.

The café is on the third floor. Twelve posts described going up through the Kakao Friends shop floors, four of them by the building's elevator. Three noted a hand-washing basin right at the top of the stairs.
No post mentions a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. Four posts used the elevator, but nobody said whether a wheelchair can get through that way.
Posts disagree on where the toilet is. Four posts from April to early September 2026 put it inside the café on the third floor; one post on 17 September said it is outside the glass door, to the right. One post said men's and women's are separate.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post reports waiting. One found free seats on a weekend afternoon; the posts that say weekends may be crowded are guessing. That means no one wrote about a wait, not that there is never one.
- Opening hours come almost entirely from copied info blocks: 15 posts list daily 11:00-23:00 and 13 give last order at 22:00. Two list 11:00-22:00, and one December 2025 post gives a 10:00 opening.
- Prices were the same from February to September 2026 (Mapo-ui Mihak 8,900 won, americano 5,500 won, cakes around 9,000-10,000 won). Two posts called it pricey and one hinted at it without saying so.
- Twelve posts give the phone number 0507-1374-3349; one gives 02-332-3315. Apart from the group room, no one wrote about booking a table.
- Many posts from August-September 2026 follow the same template: an address/hours/phone block, then Mapo-ui Mihak with the chocolate suisse or Chunsik bun, and the keyword 'Hongdae station café' repeated. Two disclose sponsorship or a reviewer program, two say they paid, and the rest say nothing.
