Golden Crema is a café near exit 9 of Hongik University Station, taking up the second to fourth floors and the rooftop of 121 Eoulmadang-ro. There is no ground-floor space: you climb the stairs to the second floor, order at the counter and collect your drink when the buzzer goes. An americano was 5,000 won in a February 2025 post and 5,500 won from April 2026 on. The building often hosts game collaboration cafés and K-pop birthday cafés, and four of the nine first-hand visits were made during such events. We read 17 posts dated February 2025 to October 2026; nine describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Outside events the place reads as calm. Two posts call it quiet: one went on a packed day in Hongdae and found very few people even at peak time, with the person next to them working on a laptop for ages; the other found it calm at weekend lunchtime. A February 2025 visitor at 9:30 pm found no other customers on the second floor.
- All three posts that mention queuing were written during collaboration events: about 20 minutes during the April 2026 Trickcal event, and a long line and a moderate line during the May event. One ordinary visit found it nearly empty even at peak time, and one October 2026 event visitor was told to expect 30 minutes but walked straight in on returning later.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

Eight of the nine visits note that the café starts on the second floor. One writer says there is no ground-floor space and you climb the entrance stairs; another notes the ground floor of the building is a photo-booth shop. One was told after ordering on the second floor to go up to the third, and felt the second floor stays closed until the third fills up.
Three posts describe climbing stairs from the entrance to the second floor; none says whether there is a lift. Nobody wrote about getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair, so we do not know. Copied listing reviews mention steep stairs, but we did not count them.
One post puts the toilet near the entrance of the third floor and another found it fairly clean. No one says whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 16 posts we gathered, 7 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on space split three to two. Both writers who called it small or cramped went during crowded collaboration events.
- On price it is one post against one: a February 2025 writer found the 5,000-won americano on the pricey side, while a September 2026 writer, paying 5,500 won, did not find it expensive for a main-street café. Bread-and-coffee sets were 9,000 and 9,500 won on the April 2026 menu.
- Staff split one to one: one post found friendly staff on every floor, another found the apparent owner couple unfriendly.
- Only one post says who they came with (their children). We have no gathered first-hand view on coming with friends, a partner or alone.
- Three posts give opening hours of 9:30 am to 11 pm daily, all copied from listing blocks. A February 2025 visitor was told the café closes at 11 and can be used until 10:40 pm. Collaboration events ran on their own 10 am to 10 pm schedule.
- The phone number 02-322-6748 appears only in one post's info block. One post describes reservations for the May 2026 collaboration event; nobody says whether the café takes bookings otherwise.
- Two May 2026 posts were generated from Naver listing data on the same template — identical phrasing, review counts and checklist — so we did not count them.
