Tsumeru is a Japanese-style soup curry shop on the ground floor of a side street (Yanghwa-ro 23-gil) toward Yeonnam-dong, a few minutes' walk from Exit 3 of Hongik Univ. Station. There are four curries — vegetable (12,000 won), signature chicken leg (15,900), beef brisket (15,200) and prawn (16,500) — each with twelve roasted vegetables as standard and rice served on the side with a wedge of lemon. Most people add toppings: cheese on the rice (1,500), sausage (3,500), extra broccoli (1,500). During the May 2026 soft opening only the vegetable and chicken curries were sold. We read 26 posts dated 26 May to 19 October 2026, and all 26 describe an actual visit.

What sets it apart
- Expect to wait at weekends and in the evening. Fourteen posts mention a queue and three say there was none — those three went at 6:30 on a Friday evening, a weekday lunch, and 5 pm on a weekday. One post waited 30 minutes behind seven groups at 5 pm on a weekend; another arrived 15 minutes before Saturday opening, was behind five or six groups, and got in after 30 minutes; a third found the room 'almost full' at 11:05 on a Saturday. You write your name on a paper list at the door, and two posts say the shop phones you when your turn comes — one diner left to go elsewhere with six groups ahead and came back after a call around noon.
- Three posts mention chairs outside for waiting; one of them says there were far too few for the queue and they mostly stood.
- There is dedicated solo seating. Six posts describe a counter, a bar table or single seats along the wall, and three of them add that there are regular tables too. Both posts by solo diners say a single seat opened up first, so they were seated ahead of groups in the queue.

The address says ground floor, but no post describes the level or any stairs from experience. We don't know.
No post says from experience whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pram got in. One post's info box says 'wheelchair accessible', but that is the shop's listed value copied over, so we don't rely on it. One post mentions entering through a 'small door'.
Three posts say the toilet is inside the shop. Nobody said whether it is split by gender or how big it is.

What we do not know
- Four posts call the place clean, but one early-July 2026 post complained of a lot of fruit flies.
- Fourteen posts give opening hours of 11:00–21:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break; one says it opens at 11:30. Last order was 20:30 in four posts up to 6 July 2026 and 20:20 in seven posts from 14 July on. No post mentions a closing day — that means nobody wrote it down, not that there isn't one. Most of these figures are copied from listings.
- Prices did not change across posts from May to October 2026 (vegetable 12,000 won, chicken leg 15,900). With toppings, bowls came to 15,500, 17,000 and 18,900 won, and one post warns that adding several toppings pushes the price up noticeably. One post called the price average; another said it isn't cheap but was worth it.
- Nine posts list the phone number as 0507-1327-0688. No one confirmed whether reservations are taken; one post's info table just says to ask the shop.
