Ttobogetji Tteokbokkijip Bungbung Heonibi-jeom
또보겠지떡볶이집 붕붕허니비점 Ttobogetji roughly means 'we'll surely see each other again'; the chain gives each branch a playful name, and this one is Bungbung Honeybee ('buzz-buzz honeybee').
Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →
Ttobogetji Tteokbokkijip Bungbung Honeybee is a cook-at-the-table tteokbokki shop on the second floor of a building on Yanghwa-ro 19-gil, a short walk from Exit 3 of Hongik University Station. The routine repeats post after post: the pot of rice cakes, fish cake, ramyeon, jjolmyeon, cabbage, scallion and perilla arrives nearly cooked, you boil it briefly on the table burner, eat it with butter-garlic fries (6,500 won), then hand the pot back for flying-fish-roe fried rice (3,500 won). Nine posts put two servings of tteokbokki at 15,000 won. We read 30 posts from February to October 2026; 23 are first-hand meals. Four were about other branches of the same chain and were set aside, and three were list or info round-ups we did not count.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect a line. Of 22 posts that talk about waiting, 20 say there was one. The 12 that give a time say 10, 10, 20, 20, 20–30, 29, 30, 30, 30, 40 and over 40 minutes, plus one who signed up 14th at 1:23 p.m. and got in at 2:20. Those who walked straight in went on weekdays around 4:50–5 p.m., a Friday evening, a quiet weekday afternoon, and a Saturday at 7:40 p.m. You register inside and order at the same time, which is why several posts say the food lands as soon as you sit. One post notes remote queuing isn't available and you may be dropped if you're not in the waiting seats when called.
- Nine posts mention waiting chairs outside the door, set along the stairway or hallway — about ten by one count, about eight by another, and one writer found them all taken. Three posts say the waiting area is air-conditioned.
- Because you order while waiting, nobody complains of slow food; eight posts say it arrived right away. The fried rice is ordered only after the tteokbokki is finished.
- The heat reads as mild. Of the 11 posts that call it spicy, most say 'sweet and spicy' or 'a little spicy'; three say it isn't spicy at all, one likening it to a level a grade-schooler could handle. One post says it's milder than Shin Ramyun but a spice-shy friend still found it hot. Twelve posts call it sweet.

- Many posts come from regulars: eight say they've been to this branch repeatedly ('about eight times', 'our third get-together', 'for years'), and some say they choose it over other branches for the taste. Two posts mention stamp coupons at checkout that earned them free add-ons.

Parking
1 posts say you can park; 1 say you cannot. We leave the disagreement standing rather than picking a side.

Parking reports conflict. One writer who drove parked in a lot beside the building with room for maybe one to three cars; another says no parking was provided and the nearest option was the Yeonnam No. 3 public lot. Six posts copy 'no parking' from the listing, which we don't count as first-hand.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 9 of 23 posts |
|---|---|
| Lift to the floor | yes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read) |
| Step-free access | yes 0 · no 1 (of 23 posts read) |
Nine posts note the shop is upstairs on the second floor. Eleven say it's a 2–5 minute walk from Exit 3, and the directions repeat: turn in at the GS25 alley, up to the second floor above Fuhaha Cream Bread. Three posts say the room is small, and three count roughly ten four-person tables.
We know little about step-free access. One post says you have to climb the stairs to the second floor; nobody mentions an elevator, a threshold, or getting in with a stroller or wheelchair. That's an absence of reports, not evidence either way.
No post says whether the restroom is inside the shop or separated by gender.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices diverge slightly. Nine posts list two servings of tteokbokki at 15,000 won, two at 14,000. One of the 14,000 posts describes a visit two or three months before it was written; the other, from September, also lists three servings at 19,000 and eggs at 1,000 won where others say 21,000 and 800, so we can't date a price change. One post puts a full meal for two — tteokbokki, fries, fried rice and cheese — at 27,500 won.
- Opening hours are given almost identically — 11:30 to 21:00, last order 20:00, closed Mondays — though mostly copied from the listing. The break is 15:00–16:30 in 13 posts, with one each saying 15:00–16:00 and 15:30–16:30; five say the break applies on weekdays only. One post was told fried-rice orders close at 20:30.
- There's no real reservation: posts mention CatchTable, but it's an on-site waitlist you join inside, and one post says remote queuing isn't possible. Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1415-1287.
