Burgerry's Hongdae branch is a franchise burger shop on Eoulmadang-ro, a short walk from exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station. You order at a kiosk, collect your tray when your number is called, and pour your own fountain drink. The menu board showed the Fresh Burger at 4,900 won alone or 8,600 won as a set and the Classic Cheeseburger at 6,100 won; the Grilled Cheese Burger set, new in August, was 13,200 won. We read 20 posts dated 27 July to 22 October 2026. We set aside 8 that were about other branches or other restaurants, did not count 5 brand write-ups and list posts, and were left with 7 that record eating at this branch.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. Five of the seven visit posts ordered at the kiosk by the door. One said the kiosk has a language option for foreign visitors; another said side swaps and extra patties or vegetables are all chosen there.
  2. Four posts noted many foreign customers: one found the room full, half foreign and half Korean; another said most diners were foreign; a third saw students and foreign families crowding it at a late weekday lunch.
  3. All three posts that described seating mention single bar seats plus tables for two and four; two of them say the bar runs along a glass front facing the street. Two posts called the room small, and one said it is not big but roomy enough.
  4. Five posts walked from exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station (one says exit 8 or 9), putting it at about three minutes on foot.

The most ordered dish is tongmojja chijeu seutik (통모짜치즈스틱) — 4 of 7 posts.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Parking

1 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot1 of 7 posts

One post said in its own words there is no parking and pointed to paid street lots nearby. Two other posts list no parking in copied info blocks, which we did not count.

Where it is

Map showing where BURGERRY is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Five posts walked from exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station (one says exit 8 or 9), putting it at about three minutes on foot.

Getting inside

Toilet inside1 of 7 posts

No post described the floor from experience; only the address and copied blocks say ground floor. We do not know.

Nobody mentioned a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means unknown, not absent.

One post said the restroom and a wash basin are inside the shop. Nobody said whether it is split by gender or how big it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 12 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions split on richness: one post found the sauce heavy enough to crave kimchi, while two said it was not greasy.
  • No post mentions waiting. Several say it was busy, but none say they queued. That is silence, not proof there is no wait.
  • Two posts went alone. The others only say 'my partner' or 'we', so we cannot say how the place works for friends, families or groups.
  • All opening hours we have are copied, and they split by date: four August 2026 posts give 10:00 to 02:00 daily, while two posts from 24 September and 1 October give 10:00 to midnight. Closing may have moved earlier, but we have not seen a notice from the shop.
  • We only have item and set prices from menu boards and receipts; no post gave a total for a meal. A brand round-up notes the same item can differ by a few hundred won between branches.
  • Only one post gave the phone number, 02-325-2111, and none said whether bookings are taken.
  • Four posts from 7 to 17 August 2026 share the same title pattern, the same dishes and the same lines about the kiosk, drink refills and 100% beef patties, in the same order; only one says it was sponsored. The claim that patties are made in-store is the shop's own slogan, so we did not count it.
