진영면옥 Myeonok means a noodle house; Jinyeong is most likely a personal or place name, but no post explains it.

A Pyongyang-style cold noodle house tucked into a residential alley at 22-5 Gasan-ro, Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu. Cold noodles in broth, spicy cold noodles and brisket soup are all 12,000 won; on the side there is mung-bean pancake (9,000 won), Boseong green-tea pork (9,000 won half plate, 17,000 won full) and beef brisket (22,000 won). Several posts mention that a young couple runs it. We read 30 posts dated September 6 to October 22, 2026; 24 record an actual meal. Two were about other places and set aside, and four were listicles written without a visit, which we did not count.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait. Fifteen posts waited or say they usually do; four walked straight in. Recorded waits were 30, 30 and 30 minutes, an estimated 26, an estimated 42 (ten groups ahead), and an hour from sign-up (30 minutes after opening); one regular warns of 100 minutes at lunchtime. The four who did not wait came at 1:30 pm on a Friday, 5 pm and 7 pm on weekdays, and right at opening. You sign up on a tablet at the door (from 10:00 and 16:00) or remotely via Nowwaiting (from 10:30 and 16:30), and the whole party must be present to be seated.
- Six posts mention a waiting area outside with seats. Others used the remote queue and waited at a nearby café.
- It is small. Thirteen posts said so. Three counted three four-seat and four two-seat tables, seven in all; five mentioned single seats or a counter for solo diners. Two noted a front room and a back room.
- Eleven posts called the mung-bean pancake crisp outside and moist inside; it comes with pickled onion. One found it under-seasoned and leaned on the onion sauce.
2 more
- Three posts went alone, two with friends, two in groups such as coworkers, one as a couple. One solo diner paid 21,000 won for noodles and a half plate of pork; another noted many solo guests thanks to the single seats.
- Three posts ordered by QR code or tablet at the table.

Parking
10 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

No parking at the restaurant, as ten posts say. Of the five who drove, they used the Saeul Building lot (8 minutes on foot, 3,000 won an hour), the Doksan-bondong public lot (5 minutes, 65 won per 5 minutes) or validated parking from a pharmacy in the Homeplus building. One circled the narrow alleys several times.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| In a basement | 2 of 22 posts |
|---|
The room sits below street level: two posts describe it as half a floor down, half-sunken. The registered address says basement level 1.
No post says whether there is a step or stairs at the entrance, or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. Posts mention the room is half a floor down but none describe the way in — this is unknown, not absent.
No post says whether the toilet is inside the restaurant. One found it clean but struggled to find the light switch, which is inside above the hand towels. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in two copied info blocks.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- It is a long walk from the subway. Two posts discussed it without a firm verdict: one said Guro Digital Complex and Doksan stations are too far to walk and suggested a bus or taxi, the other that transit access is not great. One office worker takes a bus from Gasan Digital Complex station.
- Opinions on seasoning differ: one post found the broth salty, three said it was not strongly seasoned, and one said it had a bit more flavor than other Pyongyang noodles.
- Posts split two to two on whether the spicy noodles are actually spicy.
- Prices: every post from September–October 2026 gives the same figures (12,000 won for noodles). Six posts said it is cheaper than other Pyongyang noodle houses. One noted prices had gone up by 1,000 won over the summer, and an older listicle still shows 11,000 won.
- Most posts give hours of 11:00–21:00 with a break 14:30–17:00 and last orders at 14:30 (lunch) and 20:00 (dinner). Nine posts list only Sunday as closed; five add the second and fourth Mondays, which one post says began in February 2026. One post alone says Tuesday, and one alone puts the break at 15:00.
- Six posts mention a one-bottle-per-table alcohol limit during the morning service. Several found the green-tea pork sold out by around 1:30 pm.
- Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1367-2383. None mention taking reservations; everyone got in through the waiting list.
