Gungjeon Galbi
궁전갈비 Gungjeon means a royal palace and galbi is grilled ribs — literally 'Palace Ribs'.

A barbecue house on the second floor of a building on Dohwa-gil; two posts put it two minutes' walk from Exit 3 of Mapo Station. It grills top-grade Korean beef ribs, rib-eye cap and marinated pork ribs over charcoal, finished with a beef doenjang stew. Tables are curtained into booths and there is a group room. We read 3 posts, April to August 2026, all from actual visits. All three follow the same template (private rooms, wedding-invitation dinners, free corkage), and none says whether it was sponsored.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All three posts describe separated seating. Two say every table has its own curtain; one counts ten four-person tables plus a group room for up to twelve. One post notes there is also an open, uncurtained area.
- All three posts say there is no corkage fee for wine, though none of the writers actually brought a bottle. One mentions Spiegelau wine glasses on hand.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Two posts describe walking up to the second floor; one gives the route as the alley to the left of the Kimsukseong building, then upstairs.
The restaurant is on the second floor and one post took the stairs. No one mentioned an elevator, an entrance step, or wheelchair or stroller access — that means we don't know, not that there is none.
Only one post says the restroom is inside the restaurant; another notes hand cream and toothbrushes there. No one said whether it is separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Accounts differ on who grills. One post says the owner grilled and cut the beef; another says staff only set the heat at first and the diners grilled the pork themselves. Whether it depends on the dish, we don't know.
- No post mentions waiting for a table; one writer had booked ahead. We don't know whether there is a queue at busy times.
- Only one post says who they came with (a husband). All three recommend it for work dinners and family gatherings, but none actually went that way.
- All three posts give opening hours of 2:30 pm to midnight, but each copied them from listing info. No one mentioned closing days.
- Not one post gives a price, so we don't know what dishes or a meal cost. The 50% wine discount and review event in one post are the shop's own promotions, copied over.
- The phone number 0507-1473-3977 appears only in one post's copied listing. One writer booked ahead but didn't say how.
