A Japanese gyukatsu house in the basement arcade of the Royal Building, right outside Gwanghwamun Station exit 1. The beef cutlet arrives red inside and you finish it piece by piece on a small tabletop brazier. Gyukatsu and the steki set are 19,500 won each, the soft omelette rice 14,500 won; three pairs ordered Set 1 (two mains, two drinks, 44,000 won). You order by tapping your phone on a tag at the table. We read 30 posts from 5 September 2025 to 5 October 2026; after dropping two about other places and one promotion list, 27 describe a visit.

Waits ran from 11 parties on a Saturday afternoon and 20 minutes on a weekend, to two parties and 10 minutes at 5:30pm, four parties before opening, and one party at noon on a weekday. Ten posts describe going down into the basement arcade to find it. Four mention stairs, and the directions repeat: skip the ground-floor entrance, take the outside stairs down, go straight, then right. Three posts found most other arcade shops shut on weekends.
No one mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — we don't know. Four posts took stairs down; none mentions a lift.
No post says whether the toilet is inside. 'Separate men's and women's toilets' appears in four copied listing blocks, which we don't count. One set of directions mentions a toilet sign in the arcade corridor.

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Prices moved: two December 2025 posts list gyukatsu and steki at 19,000 won, posts from April 2026 at 19,500. Opinions on cost split two to two — the omelette rice felt a bit pricey and portions not cheap, versus under 30,000 won a head and fair for Gwanghwamun.
- One regular has come since it sat near Gyeongbokgung Station nearly ten years ago; another nearly went to the old Seochon hanok shown in search results. Every post we read is about the current Gwanghwamun location.
- All opening hours are copied from listings. The 3–5pm break is consistent; most give 11:00–21:30 weekdays and 11:30–22:00 weekends, but others say 11:00–21:30 or 11:30–22:00 daily, or split Mon–Thu / Fri–Sun. Check before going.
- Most posts give the phone as 02-730-7090; one September 2025 post lists 0507-1410-0956. Bookings in the posts went through Naver or CatchTable, never by phone.
- The celebrity endorsements and the founders' Tokyo-trip origin story are repeated in five posts from the shop's own material; we don't treat them as evidence.
