What sets it apart

  1. There are private rooms: 14 posts saw or used one. One family of eight booked ahead but found the rooms full and sat in the main hall, so ask specifically if you need one.
  2. Eleven posts booked ahead through Naver or Catch Table. One diner booked for 6 pm, parked ten minutes early, and got only the one-hour lunch allowance instead of two dinner hours, paying 8,000 won for parking.

It is one floor below ground: nine posts describe going down by stairs or lift. One says to take the glass lift on the right side of the ground-floor lobby; another warns the entrance is easy to walk past.

Nobody wrote about a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. That means we don't know, not that there is none. One post did take a lift down to the basement.

No post says whether the toilets are inside the restaurant or separated by gender.

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No post describes a queue. One arrived around 6:10 pm and found it nearly empty; one walked in on a weekday morning and waited briefly behind one party; another saw it fill with groups by 6 pm.
  • Only two posts describe actually walking from Jonggak or Gwanghwamun station; the '365 m from Jonggak exit 5' line is copied directions.
  • Opening hours changed. Posts from December 2025 to March 2026 give Sunday–Thursday 11:00–21:00 and Friday–Saturday 11:00–22:00 (last order 21:00); posts from July 2026 give 11:00–21:00 daily, last order 20:00. Most say the 16:00–17:00 break is weekdays only; one post says weekends too. All of these are copied listings, so check before you go.
  • Combo prices differ between posts: two give the happy-hour T-bone combo as 180,900 won and one as 189,900 won. We could not tell whether it is the same product or a price rise. Several posts note surcharges for swapping items within a set.
  • Many July–August 2026 posts repeat the same lines in the same order — the 'Excel Beef' sourcing, a 'brand award three years running', a 'seven-step system', identical directions, the parking table and an anniversary Polaroid promotion.
