크리스탈제이드 신세계백화점 본점 Keuriseutaljeideu Sinsegye Baekhwajeom Bonjeom Crystal Jade is the English brand name of a Chinese restaurant chain that one post says runs more than 120 restaurants across Asia-Pacific; this is its branch in the basement of Shinsegae Department Store's main store.

A Hong Kong-style Chinese restaurant in the basement food hall of Shinsegae Department Store's main store in Myeongdong, serving dim sum (xiaolongbao, har gow, shumai) plus wonton noodles, dandan noodles, black-bean noodles and fried rice. Posted prices: 7,500 won for four soup dumplings, 13,000 for yuni jajangmyeon, 15,000 for dandan noodles, 16,000 for wonton noodles, 18,000 for seafood jjamppong; one solo diner paid 38,500 won for four dishes. We read 14 posts from August 15 to October 4, 2026; one wasn't about this restaurant and two didn't eat here, leaving 11 actual meals. Five of those were family meals, four with a child.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You can reach it straight from the subway: four posts describe walking from exit 7 of Hoehyeon Station (Line 4) through an underground passage into the store, and one noted you stay out of the rain all the way to the basement food hall.
- Ordering is by tablet at each table or by kiosk, according to four posts; one post instead describes picking from a laminated menu.
- Families with small children are common here: four posts came with a child, two mention high chairs, one says staff brought children's cutlery, and two fed their child the yuni jajangmyeon.
- Three posts ate with a discount: two used SKT's T day deal of 40% off orders over 50,000 won (one paid 30,300 won on a 50,500 bill), and one used a 10% birthday coupon from Naver Place. Another got a free cucumber side through a review event.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 6 of 11 posts |

| Step-free access | yes 0 · no 1 (of 11 posts read) |
One post says strollers aren't allowed inside. No post mentions steps, ramps or lifts; although it is inside a department store, nobody wrote about getting into the restaurant itself by wheelchair.
No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender — that means nobody wrote about it, not that there are none.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 13 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waits are split two to two: two posts waited (a weekday lunch rush, and a Friday evening during a T day promotion when the restaurant said two parties were ahead), two walked straight in (a weekend lunch and a weekday evening). One post we didn't count gave up on a weekend lunch because the queue was too long. Nobody recorded how many minutes they waited.
- Portions divide opinion: one post fed three people on a two-person set and left full, another said the portions were small for the price, and a third found only the sweet-and-sour pork a bit small.
- Views on price differ: one post felt it was on the expensive side, two called it reasonable or cheap — though one of those two had a 40% discount that day.
- Six posts copied the opening hours. All agree it opens at 10:30; on closing time, two say 20:00 on weekdays and 20:30 on weekends, two give 20:00 (last order 19:30) without days, one says 20:30 daily (last order 20:00), and one splits Monday-Thursday from Friday-Sunday. One post says it closes on the department store's regular holidays.
- Four posts give the same phone number, 02-310-5108. One called it to ask how many parties were waiting, but no post says whether this branch takes reservations.
