A European bistro in a converted two-storey house down a Seochon alley (Jahamun-ro 5-gil 17), a few minutes from Gyeongbokgung Station exit 2. Fresh pasta (26,000–29,000 won as of 2026), sea bream and saffron seafood stew (39,000), and steak frites (38,000) come with wine by the glass (16,000); a typical post is two people sharing a pasta, a main and two glasses. What sets it apart
- People come for the terrace overlooking hanok rooftops: 26 visit posts describe the outdoor seating at the ground-floor entrance and on the second floor, where rattan chairs sit under a yellow awning with tiled roofs right in front. As the caveat below explains, very few actually ate out there.
- This is a reservation place: 19 posts booked through CatchTable or Naver. A November 2025 post says the room filled the moment they sat down at a weekday lunch and they'd have been stuck as walk-ins; an April 2026 post found it full on a weekday. Two posts mention a 1 hour 50 minute table limit when the room is full.
- The kitchen is open to the ground-floor room: 10 posts mention watching the chefs cook, and two noticed a foreign chef at the stove.
- Portions are modest: 6 posts call them small or not generous, and an April 2025 pair of light eaters say they left hungry. The one post that found something large was talking about the fries with the steak.

- Four posts call it expensive. A November 2025 post reckons two people with drinks will pass 150,000 won; an April 2025 post felt each dish was about 10,000 won overpriced for its size. Even pickles are charged separately, at 3,000 won.
- Nine posts describe friendly service — bringing the bottle to explain a glass pour, topping up water before it ran dry. One April 2025 post found a server curt and unfriendly, and a July 2026 visit just before last order was unhappy that dishes came all at once and the cork from their BYO bottle wasn't returned.

Many posts say there's no parking, mostly copied from the listing. Two speak from experience: a November 2025 post says even the nearby public lots are awkward and recommends walking, and an April 2025 post parked at the nearby Inwang Building. An August 2026 visitor regretted driving because it meant no wine.

Most seating is upstairs: 21 posts were led to or describe the second floor, and several say the ground floor has only a couple of tables. The upstairs room looks onto hanok roofs through large windows, and one couple asked for a window table when booking. The second floor is reached by stairs, which a November 2025 post warns are fairly steep.
No post mentions a basement; every post describes only the ground and second floors, indoors and on the terraces.
Nobody mentioned an entrance step, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift — that means we don't know, not that there is none. Most of the seating is upstairs, reached by stairs.
On toilets we have only one August 2026 post photographing the tiles of the restroom inside, and one April 2025 post saying it wasn't very clean. Nobody said whether it is separated by gender or which floor it's on.
No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 31 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only two posts actually ate on the terrace: a group of four who booked it in advance via CatchTable in May 2025, and an October 2026 visit at the ground-floor tables. Everyone else ended up inside because it was too hot, too cold or raining. The October 2026 post found the upstairs terrace already full when booking a day ahead, and several posts copy the restaurant's note that specific seats can't be reserved.
- No post describes queuing, since nearly everyone booked ahead. The line about there being no waiting area is copied from the restaurant's own notice, which also asks walk-ins to phone first.
- Prices have gone up: the white ragu pasta was 25,000 won through February 2026 and 26,000 from August 2026; the mushroom salad went from 20,000 to 21,000 and the calamari from 28,000 to 29,000. Fresh truffle was 20,000 won extra in April 2025 and 15,000 later. Two people with a pasta, a main and two glasses of wine spend around 100,000 won.
- Opening hours have changed. 2025 posts say 11:30–22:00, last order 20:45, closed Mondays. February 2026 posts give a 21:50 close but still closed Mondays; from March 2026 most say open daily 11:30–21:50 with a 15:00–17:30 break and last order at 20:40. Two posts from July–August 2026 still list Monday closing, and three give last order as 20:35. All of this is copied from listings, so check before going.
- Most posts list the phone as 0507-1314-2163; one April 2025 post gave 010-2484-1206. Bookings go through CatchTable and Naver — an August 2026 post says weekends are CatchTable only — and copied notices ask groups of six or more and same-day visitors to call.
- Nine posts carry an almost identical paragraph on the chef's résumé (Le Cordon Bleu, Quay and Rockpool in Australia, the Finnish embassy in Seoul). It's the restaurant's own blurb, so we don't count it. Many posts also paste the same CatchTable notice and review-count widget, which suggests commissioned writing, but none discloses sponsorship; only one January 2025 post notes that some dishes were comped.
