Sanullim 1992 is a traditional-liquor pub on Seogang-ro 9-gil 60 in Mapo, on a side street between Hongik Univ. and Sinchon stations. Fourteen posts give the same hours, 5pm to 1am, closed Mondays (mostly copied from the Naver listing). It stocks hundreds of makgeolli, cheongju and spirits with Korean bar food. The most-eaten dishes are the cheese potato pancake (twelve posts, 26,000 won) and spicy octopus stir-fry (nine posts, 32,000 won); four posts ordered the 44,000-won couple set. One party of five paid 134,000 won. Several posts list the phone as 0507-1417-0352; booking is through Naver or Catchtable. We read 30 posts dated March 30 to October 14, 2026: 19 visits, 2 write-ups without a visit, and 9 set aside because they were about the unrelated Sanullim cafe and theater (book-festival venues) or other shops.

What sets it apart
- Expect a wait in the evening. Five posts waited or saw a line: one waited well over an hour behind what looked like four groups on a rainy night, another about ten minutes on a full weekend. Two posts that had booked saw walk-ins queuing. One post found a table at 7pm on a Saturday but still called waiting the norm. Six posts booked ahead, and three say tables are limited to 2 hours 30 minutes when there is a line.
- There is a first-order rule. Four posts quote the same condition: at least one full dish, or a full dish plus a side, or three sides. Four posts mention a second-floor loft at the back; one seated there counted about six tables. Four posts call the place spacious. Several mention bar seats near the door, and one pair was seated there because nothing else was free.
The floor level is unclear. The registered address says semi-basement, but one post says it sat at a six-seat table on the ground floor. No post describes going downstairs.
No post mentions a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in — that means unknown, not absent. Nobody describes the way up to the loft either.
Two posts say the restroom is inside, one adding that it is split by gender. No other post mentions it.

Of the 21 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on price split: five posts call it pricey (mains are sized for two or three), two say it is not. One adds that drinks cost a bit more than at ordinary pubs.
- Portions split two to two: two posts found them large, two found them small.
- Three posts put it 8 to 10 minutes on foot from Hongik Univ. station, past the main strip and up a slope; one found it hard to spot the first time. No post came by bus.
- Fourteen posts give the same hours (5pm-1am, last order midnight, closed Mondays), mostly copied from the listing. TV appearances, Blue Ribbon awards and the 1992 founding are repeated claims we did not count.
- The menu has changed: an April 2026 post calls braised short ribs with fried radish brand new, and an August post notes the noodle add-on for the octopus did not exist on earlier visits (it already appears in April).
