Gogikkun Kimchunbae's Hongdae Forest Path branch sits in a low, tile-roofed hanok-style building right beside the Gyeongui Line Forest Path in Changjeon-dong, Mapo. What we do not know
- No one reports actually queuing. Many booked ahead, and the warning that Friday-to-Sunday mealtimes mean a wait is given as advice, not experience. One post found it nearly full at 7pm on a Wednesday; another found the outdoor seats full at 8pm on a weekday.
- Hours: 19 posts give daily 12:00 to 23:00 and 14 give last orders at 22:00, all copied from listings; 4 say there is no closing day. One post copied a 21:00 cutoff for outdoor seats. A single post gave 12:00 to 22:30, but it also listed a different address, so we left it out.
- Prices come from posts dated August to October 2026. The beef-only set for two was copied as 160,000 won (400g) in one post and 167,000 won in others. The day's beef in the set changes daily: mostly chuck flap, but 3 posts got sirloin. Several posts put a meal for two (set, noodles, fried rice) at 124,000 won.
- Most posts cluster in September and October 2026 and share structure and wording. One discloses sponsorship, one is from a review program, and one still contains an unfilled template line asking the writer to insert hours and closing days. The rest say nothing about who paid.
