A Taiwanese beef-noodle and Hong Kong dim sum restaurant on Myeongmul-gil, near Exit 3 of Sinchon Station. The most-ordered dish is the beef noodle soup with wide knife-shaved noodles and braised shank (10,500 won), eaten in 13 of the 26 visit posts. The three dim sum (xiaolongbao, shumai, crystal dumplings) are 9,500 won, rice bowls 9,800 won, and dishes such as guobaorou, cream shrimp and yuringi 17,000 to 19,800 won. You order on a tablet at the table; peanuts and zha cai come free. We read 30 posts from 27 January to 18 October 2026. Three were about other places (the Daehangno branch, a burger shop, a pub) and one only introduced the restaurant, leaving 26 visit posts, 18 of them published between 3 and 18 October.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- You order on the tablet at each table; ten posts say so. Payment is the one point of difference: a January post says you pay at the counter by the door, while three October posts say you pay on the tablet when you order.
- No post had to wait to get in. Four walked straight in (a weekend at 2 pm, a weekend, an evening), and three were seated at once but saw a queue form while they ate: one arrived at 12:30 on a weekend and people started queuing right after them, another found people waiting outside when they left after dinner. Three posts also say the food came faster than expected.
- Ten of the eleven posts that discussed price found it reasonable, pointing to noodles and rice bowls at around 10,000 won and a generous 17,000-won guobaorou. Two receipts: four dishes for two came to 49,600 won, three dishes to 42,300 won.
- Fourteen posts called the fried dishes crisp: guobaorou, cream shrimp, chilli shrimp, yuringi, kkanpunggi and fried aubergine alike. One post found the chilli-shrimp batter a little thick.
3 more
- Nine posts wrote about the broth in the xiaolongbao. They come out very hot: one post says staff told them to wait three minutes, another warns you will burn the roof of your mouth.
- Heat depends on the dish. The seven posts that called it spicy mostly had the Sichuan beef noodles, cumin beef, yuringi or the cold chicken; one said the Sichuan noodles are a touch hotter than Shin Ramyun. One post found the regular beef noodle soup not spicy at all, while another described its broth as properly fiery. Three more called their dishes mildly hot without settling the question.
- Five posts noticed many Chinese-speaking diners, including people paying with WeChat and Chinese-speaking tourists eating alone. Three posts mention that the staff are Chinese too.

Parking
2 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

There seems to be no parking of its own. Of the nine posts that mention parking, two say outright that the shop has none; the rest copy listing info. One post parked at the Changcheon public lot (200 won per 5 minutes, 2,400 won an hour) and walked eight minutes.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

8 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 25 posts read) |
|---|
It is a large ground-floor shop on the street; two posts say it was easy to spot for that reason.
We don't know whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. Nobody wrote about it, which is not the same as saying there is a problem.
We don't know about the toilet. One post's info block says it is inside, but that is copied listing data, and no post describes using it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Seventeen posts give opening hours, almost all copied from listings. Thirteen say 11:00 to 22:20 daily with last orders at 22:00; others give 22:00 (two), 22:10 (one) or 22:30 (one). Three say it never closes; one says it shuts on Lunar New Year's Day.
- No post gives a phone number; one says there isn't one. Nobody says whether it takes reservations.
- All prices come from 2026 posts and did not change between January and October. A post about the Daehangno branch lists the full menu, but we did not use it for this branch.
- One post says Cheonghwawon has several branches and that they first ate at the Gwanghwamun one, and a post we set aside was about the Daehangno branch. It does not appear to be a one-off shop.
- Eighteen of the 26 visit posts went up in the two weeks from 3 to 18 October 2026, and several repeat the same info lines (260 m from Exit 3) and the restaurant's own copy about a dim sum chef from Guangdong. None disclose sponsorship, but they may be a commissioned batch. We did not treat the restaurant's own copy as evidence.
