Compiled from 28 blog posts read in fullSources →

Lemongrass Thai Nakseongdae is a Thai restaurant at 551 Bongcheon-ro, a short walk from Exit 4 of Nakseongdae Station. It occupies three floors, and you order from a tablet or kiosk at the table. The prices posts cite most are 13,000 won for pad thai, 29,000 won for crab curry and 13,000 to 14,000 won for noodle soups; pairs reported paying 43,000, 46,000 and 48,000 won, and a family of four 59,000 won (14,750 won each). We read 30 posts from April to October 2026, 28 of them records of an actual meal. Three disclosed sponsorship, three said they paid themselves, and the rest said nothing.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The third floor is private rooms. Thirteen posts mentioned rooms or a separate space, and three said the third floor has three rooms; one said they seat two, four and six. Two posts said they booked ahead.
  2. Many posts ordered the crab curry. Seven posts said the frying stayed crisp, two of them about the shrimp cakes. Three posts counted the crabs differently: two or three, three or four, and about five.
  3. Seven posts said you order from a tablet or kiosk at the table; one noted a paper menu on each table as well, for anyone who finds the kiosk hard.
  4. Five posts said the food came quickly; none said it was slow.
3 more
  1. Twelve posts walked from the station. Times from Exit 4 of Nakseongdae Station were given as four to five minutes, five minutes (four posts), seven and eight; two said to turn into the alley by Jackson Pizza.
  2. Of posts that said who they came with, six came as a couple, three with family and three with friends. The one post with children said the kids ate the fried pork (18,000 won) best, and two posts mentioned high chairs.
  3. Seven posts noted Thai beer (Singha, Chang, Lao), two at 3,500 won, and two said bottles come with an iced glass. The 3,000-won-per-person corkage appeared only in copied info blocks, so we did not count it.

Twenty-four posts said there is seating on all three floors. Five ate on the second or third floor, one sat on the ground floor, and none mentioned a basement. Four posts noted a small terrace or outdoor seats at street level; one said it sits right beside the sidewalk.

We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access. Only one post said the split-level layout has stairs, so stroller users should take ground-floor seats. No post mentioned an entrance step or an elevator; that means no one wrote about it, not that there is none.

Four posts said the toilet is inside, three of them on the second floor. On separate men's and women's toilets they split one to one: one said separate, another said shared.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • We know little about waiting. One post arrived around 2 p.m. and sat down without a wait; nobody wrote about peak lunch or dinner. One post said the room was fairly full even on a weekday evening.
  • Twenty-one posts gave the same hours, 11:00 to 21:00; four said there is no break time and three said it opens every day of the year. Most of these are copied info blocks, and no post gave a last-order time.
  • A few posts disagree on prices. Pad thai was 13,000 won in seven posts and 12,000 in one; crab curry was 29,000 won in seven and 26,000 in one October 2026 post. The differences don't follow the dates, so we don't treat them as a price change. Three posts called the prices reasonable; one said 16,000 won for tom yum goong was hard to call cheap.
  • Twelve posts gave the same phone number, 02-6396-3029; one said they reserved by phone.
  • Seventeen posts cluster in September and October 2026, and many repeat the restaurant's own blurb about Thai chefs and fresh ingredients, the same hours block and the same search phrases; only three disclosed sponsorship. Thai Select certification, a customer-satisfaction award and Thai TV appearances are the restaurant's own claims as copied by bloggers, and we did not rely on them.
