Maeumaeo Pamie Station Gangnam
매우매오 파미에스테이션 강남점 Maeu is Korean for 'very', and maeo reads like a playful spelling of maewo, 'spicy' — fitting for a house of spicy braised short ribs.
Compiled from 3 blog posts read in fullSources →
A short-rib braise shop on the second-floor dining level of Pamie Station, the mall connected to Express Bus Terminal station. Red (spicy) or cream short ribs run 20,000–21,000 won per person; the two-person set with steamed egg, a rice ball and a drink is 47,000 won (red) or 49,000 won (cream), and a four-person set is 95,000 won. We read 3 posts from August to October 2026, all from people who ate there.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You pick the heat level, and two posts found it milder than expected. The staff reportedly describe level 2 as a bit hotter than Shin Ramyun (that's hearsay), but the diner who ordered level 2 called it barely spicy and planned to go higher next time; another wrote it wasn't very hot. One post suggests ordering the cream version a level hotter since the cream tames the heat.
- All three posts called the place clean. One noted the shopfront is open to the mall corridor so it's easy to spot; another described the mood as calm.

One post that came by car described the route: level 2 of the Shinsegae Pamie car park is closest and puts you near the Pamie Station entrance. The Shinsegae department store car park also works, but nobody mentioned parking fees or validation.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 3 posts read) |
|---|
Two posts placed it, from their own visit, on the mall's second-floor dining level, so it is not in a basement. Nobody described how to get up there (lift or escalator).
No one said whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That means we don't know, not that it isn't possible.
Nobody mentioned whether there's a toilet inside or you use the mall's shared restrooms. We don't know.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Opinions on space split one to one: one post found it small but efficiently seated, another said the tables were well spaced. One noted mostly two- and four-seat tables.
- One post said the station connection made it easy to reach even in bad weather. The '76 m from exit 3' figure is copied from a listing block. Nobody described getting there by bus.
- No post mentions waiting. One went at a late lunch when the crowd had thinned, so we don't know whether there's a queue at peak hours.
- Only one post said who they went with — a family of four with children. None came with friends, a partner or alone; one mentioned single-portion options but didn't dine solo.
- Two posts give the same hours — daily 11:00–21:30, break 14:30–17:00, last order 20:30 — but both copied them from a listing block rather than checking.
- Prices matched between the August and October 2026 posts (cream two-person set 49,000 won), which works out to 23,500–24,500 won a head. The family who paid 95,000 won for the four-person set wasn't sure it was good value.
- Two posts list the phone number 0507-1400-0498 in copied listing blocks; nobody said whether reservations are taken.
