FLAVORS

플레이버즈 Peulleibeojeu Flavors is simply the English word for tastes; it is the name of the all-day buffet restaurant inside JW Marriott Hotel Seoul.

Compiled from 18 blog posts read in fullSources →

The buffet restaurant inside JW Marriott Hotel Seoul in Banpo. The registry says third floor, but every visitor wrote second floor. Its draws are grilled lobster, snow crab, lamb rack and LA-style short ribs, with pasta, sashimi and pho made at live stations; coffee and tea are ordered at the table. Posts from August 2026 on give 209,000 won for weekday dinner and weekends, 179,000 won for weekday lunch and 89,000 won for breakfast. We read 30 posts from 23 December 2025 to 17 October 2026: 19 record an actual meal, 6 only describe the place and 5 were about other venues. One post recalls the pre-renewal 'The Cafe'.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Staff come up often. Six posts call them attentive, and four describe the floor manager coming to the table to crack their snow crab. One couple got a candle and a rose cake when they mentioned a birthday. One post notes he drops by often, which people who dislike small talk may find tiring. Four posts say he appeared on a TV show in July 2026; they only retell the broadcast, so we did not count them.
  2. Coffee and tea are ordered at the table rather than fetched: twelve posts say staff bring them over. Six say drinks can be taken away in a cup on the way out. Juice and cola are at a self-serve bar, one post says.
  3. Five posts say the lamb had no gamey smell; none said it did.
  4. Five posts say each adult gets one glass of wine (red, white or alcohol-free sparkling). One group brought its own bottle and paid corkage; the 80,000-won figure in that post is copied information.

  1. Three posts sat by the window (one requested it by phone; one saw Banpo's lights at night), while one says the room is not laid out for a view, so three to one. Three posts mention wide spacing between tables.

Parking

5 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Posts saying you can park5 of 18 posts

Four posts drove and five parked in the basement garage on the Shinsegae side. One says there was plenty of space; another found it full on a weekday and went down to B4. Posts disagree on which garage is validated: one says Central City is not, another says to enter via Central City and that the Famille Station side is not. The '5 hours free' figure appears often but is mostly copied.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 18 posts read)

It is not underground: three posts went up to the hotel's second floor, by lift or escalator. One post says a passage beside the Bulgari shop on the department store's second floor leads into the hotel.

No one wrote about steps at the entrance or wheelchair or pram access; that means unknown, not absent. Three posts reached the second floor by lift or escalator.

Only one post covers toilets: they are just outside the restaurant's front desk, in the hotel, and clean. Gender separation and accessible toilets are unknown.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 24 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-07-073 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Noise splits one to one: a weekday-dinner visitor found it calm, another found it lively and crowded.
  • Only one post mentions waiting: on 31 December 2025 people lined up 5-10 minutes before the first lunch seating. Others booked and walked in on time. We do not know whether there is usually a queue.
  • Three posts say from experience it connects directly to Express Bus Terminal station; they give different exit numbers (3 and 7).
  • Prices have risen. A December 2025 post says weekday dinner was normally 199,000 won (224,000 over the holidays), and a June 2026 breakfast cost 80,000 won. Six posts from August 2026 give 209,000 won for weekday dinner and weekends and 89,000 won for breakfast; one 1 August 2026 post shows a different 168,000/194,000-won table. Three posts call it expensive, one saying it was not worth 300,000 won for two. Many paid with card vouchers or Naver booking discounts, so what people actually paid varies.
  • Six visitor posts give hours, all copied from official listings: weekdays 06:30-21:00 with breaks 10:00-12:00 and 14:30-18:00 (all six agree), Saturdays to 22:00 (three posts). Three give Sunday dinner ending at 21:00, one at 22:00. Weekend lunch and dinner run in two 2-hour seatings. No post mentions a closing day.
  • Seven posts give 02-6282-6268 for phone bookings; two others list 02-6282-6730 and 02-6282-6732 for enquiries. Five posts say they booked ahead, via Naver or Catchtable.
  • Sashimi and sushi divide opinion: one post says they melted in the mouth, while others found them disappointing for a hotel dinner, less carefully made than the rest, or not especially fresh.
  • Four posts from 6-7 July 2026 retell a TV feature in the same template (price table, booking tips, FAQ), and one summarises a YouTube video; none records a visit, so we did not count them. No post disclosed sponsorship; ten say they paid themselves.
